Monday 23 July 2018 / Al-Islah.net / Alsahwah.net - Exclusive

Two of the abductees in the detention camps of the militia in Sanaa have died after being subjected to brutal torture.

The lawyer, Abdul Rahman Berman, said in a leaflet on his page "Facebook": The detainee Omar al-Riyami died on Sunday, inside the national security apparatus in Sanaa controlled by the militias after the arrest and forced disappearance for more than a year.

The abductees were arrested in the central prison in Hodeidah and were moved with others to the central prison in Sanaa after the Houthi militia broke into the central prison in Hodeidah last month.

The abductee Adnan is a son of the Zaidi district of the governorate of Hodeidah. He died on Sunday due to a brutal torture subjected to him for days by elements of the terrorist militia. His body was taken to the police hospital in Sanaa.

It is noteworthy that about 120 abductees in the prisons of the militias died under brutal torture in a number of Houthi prisons.

The Houthi militias hide thousands of abductees forcibly in secret detentions without trial, charges, release them or inform their families of their hiding places.
