Yesterday evening, Friday, the Yemeni Islah Party in al-Qatn Directorate, Hadhramawt Governorate, organized a Ramadan evening for senior social figures in the district.

In his speech, Munir Bamuhaimoud, Assistant Secretary-General of the Executive Office of the Islah Party in the Governorate, expressed the party’s satisfaction with embodying the governorate as a model to be emulated by the rest of the Governorates, represented by the establishment and announcement of the Hadhramawt National Council. He wished its leadership good luck and success.

He also thanked the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the efforts they are making for Yemen in general and Hadhramawt in particular.

Bamuhaimoud touched on the Islah Party’s statement about the deteriorating living conditions and public services experienced by citizens in the governorate, and the deteriorating economic conditions as a result of corruption and the absence of oversight and its accounting bodies. He stressed the activation of local councils to carry out their oversight and accounting roles.

He called on society to support oversight efforts and obtain rights peacefully through bodies, unions, and entities that raise awareness about this.

Bamuhaimoud affirmed Islah’s appreciation and blessing for all national efforts, whether individual or organized, to restore the state and defeat the coup led by the terrorist Houthi militias.

At the beginning of the evening, the head of the political department of the al-Qatn Directorate Islah Party, Barak Nasr, welcomed the attendees, pointing out the importance of such evenings and meetings to deepen community communication.
