Statement text:

The Yemeni Islah Party in Hadhramawt Governorate continued its call for holding some activities in light of the conditions experienced by Hadhramawt in particular and Yemen in general, which requires everyone to stand together to spare the safe Hadhramawt from any irrational movements and calls that may lead - God forbid - to dragging the Governorate and its people to the arena of violence and chaos.

These exceptional circumstances require everyone to use their minds and logic and to stay away from everything that leads to disagreements and dislocates the social fabric of the people of the province.

Where the Yemeni Islah Party expresses its deep regret for leaving these calls to tamper with the emotions of young people and stir up social strife, regionalism, and political plotting aimed at pushing Hadhramawt into a cycle of violence and chaos.

Based on the foregoing, we appeal to the local authority and the security committee in the Governorate, in addition to all political and societal components, to perform their duty in order to preserve the values of coexistence and social peace that pervaded Hadhramawt and its people were known for, and to spare the Governorate from slipping towards undesired consequences.

May God protect Hadhramawt and its people from all harm and misfortune.
