The National Alliance of the Political Parties and Forces strongly condemns the terrorist attack carried out by the terrorist Houthi militia with Iranian-made drones on a cargo ship anchored in the oil al-Dhabbah port.

In its statement published by Saba News Agency, the National Alliance verified that the terrorist attack is not separate from the criminal approach adopted by the Houthi militia, which it has been following since its inception on the basis of violence, which has not stopped over the past years. The last of this criminal approach was the attack it carried out on the al-Nashima oil port in Shabwa Governorate. This attack comes within the framework of systematic practices carried out by terrorist militias operating under the auspices of the terrorist regime.

It pointed out that this attack occurred at a time when the United Nations and the international community are making great efforts to extend the armistice and establish peace. The terrorist attack on the oil port is nothing but an affirmation that it is impossible for the Houthi militia to pursue peace or to be a party to a peace process. The targeting of civilian facilities, infrastructure, and economics for Yemen and the Yemeni people who suffer from deteriorating living conditions due to the coup of the militia and its bloody war against the people and its practices that constitute crimes against humanity is a flagrant violation of international law.

He verified that the leniency of the international community towards the bloody years of Houthi crimes and terrorism and ignoring the practices of the Iranian-backed militias has encouraged them to continue committing more crimes and destabilize the security and stability of Yemen and the region.

The National Alliance of Parties called on the United Nations, its special envoy to Yemen, and the international community, to condemn this criminal behavior and deal firmly with the crimes of the Houthi militia and its insistence on violence and terrorism, as well as its blatant attacks on the Yemeni people and their interests and everything that would harm the security of the neighborhood, the region, and international navigation.

He also called for the inclusion of the Houthi militia, its leaders, and financiers on the list of terrorism and to prosecute them for the crimes they have committed and are still committing.

It called on the Presidential Leadership Council, the government, and the Arab coalition supporting legitimacy to take decisive decisions to confront the ongoing Houthi crimes and the blatant attacks it is carrying out on Yemen, its people, its economic facilities, and its identity. It also called on all national forces to strengthen the unity of the ranks, where there is no way to achieve security and stability, restore the state, get rid of the militia's influence, and stop its crimes against the Yemeni people, except by moving forward towards ending the coup, burying the Iranian project and restoring the state, which is proven by the Houthi militia through its terrorist practices.
