MP Abdul Razzaq al-Hajri, Acting Secretary of the Yemeni Islah Party, confirmed that the glorious epic of the 6th of October will remain alive in the hearts of the Arab peoples.

In a statement he made to alislah-ye.net website, al-Hajri said that the victory of the Egyptian people and their armed forces in the October War represented a major turning point in the victory for national and Arab issues when Egypt liberated its land thanks to the courage and sacrifices of the army's heroes and the determination and will of the people.

On the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the eternal victories achieved in the war of October 6, 1973, al-Hajri congratulated the brotherly Egyptian people and their political leadership represented by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the armed forces, where the Egyptian armed forces achieved in that time a glorious epic against the usurping entity.

Al-Hajri praised the great heroism achieved by the Egyptian army and the massive sacrifices that achieved an immortal victory not only for Egypt but for the Arab and Islamic nations.

The Acting Secretary-General of the Islah Party, thanked the Arab Republic of Egypt, praising its positions in support of Yemen, its people, government and legitimacy, as well as its support in confronting the Imami Houthi project backed by the Iranian regime.

He considered that the position adopted by Egypt towards Yemen is not strange, explaining that these positions are an extension of its support for the September 26, 1962 revolution, in which the Yemenis got rid of the Imamate priestly rule, as well as the support and sacrifices that Egypt made for the victory of the will of the Yemeni people and their eternal revolution.
