A leader in the Yemeni Islah Party in the Hadhramawt Governorate said that the political screening will not achieve for the people of Hadhramawt anything of what they dream of.

In a post on his official Facebook page, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Yemeni Islah Party in the Hadhramawt Valley and Desert, Engineer Rabie Basyod, made it clear that the language of defiance will not have a magical effect between brothers, stressing that only the voice of reason and logic is relied upon to solve any dilemma political, social or economic.

And he indicated that the Islah Party derives its positions from the values of justice, equality, freedom and shura, which is a basic premise in its political program.

"Through this logic, we stand at the same distance with all parties and at all levels, in accordance with the accepted principles," he said.

And he pointed out that the Islah Party refuses to be portrayed by anyone as being against the rights of Hadhramawt or exaggerating its hostility, adding, "We are a political component that has a great presence in the community, and it affects, is affected, feels and suffers with what is happening to society at all levels."

He continued, "If we want a solution to our problems in Hadhramawt, first we have to raise the level of trust between us, and our motto is "Hadhramawt first" and we agree on a work program among all components and political and social forces."

And he pointed out that the work program will diagnose and solve problems, what benefits Hadhramawt and what harms it, and will result of it a matrix of single demands prepared at the highest levels to launch through to find effective solutions without betraying or accusing anyone.

He added, "We are all sons of Hadhramawt, and we all appreciate what Hadhramowt means to him, and here we can reach the goal if we are talking about rights, but if in the poet’s mind there is another meaning, then it is impossible for us to meet, and we will continue to hum, and each one has his own hum.”
