Reliable sources in Sana'a have revealed an increase in coordination between Al-Qaeda Organization and the Houthi militia in recent times. The Saudi newspaper, Okaz, quoting these sources, reported that the coup militia granted high military ranks to a number of al-Qaeda Organization leaders located in the Al-Bayda Governorate and made a deal with them that would lead to their participation in military operations in Marib and the western coast. And the newspaper revealed a meeting that was held last week in Sanaa between the leaders of the Al-Qaeda Organization stationed in the Al-Bayda Governorate and the two Houthi leaders Aref Mujalli and Muhammad Ali al-Houthi, during which the two sides agreed that the Al-Qaeda terrorist elements would participate in the fighting alongside the Houthi militia in Marib.

It added that the al-Qaeda members received a budget allocated to them and promised to escalate their terrorist operations in the liberated areas. And the same sources reported that the Al-Qaeda Organization handed over 200 terrorists two weeks ago to the Houthi militia, to be transferred to Marib, stressing that the majority of the fighters are from the Governorates of Al-Bayda and Dhamar.

In the same regard, military sources confirmed the killing of the leader in the al-Qaeda Organization, Hamza Rawiya, who was given the rank of major by the Houthi militia during the confrontations in the Umm al-Rish front in the Juba Directorate - south of Marib. It stated that Rawiya is considered one of the most dangerous members of the Al-Qaeda Organization and is wanted for legitimacy because of his involvement in terrorist crimes.

And the Yemeni journalist, Akram al-Fahd, confirmed that the coordination between the Al-Qaeda Organization and the Houthi group is not a product of the moment, pointing to the existence of common interests between the two sides since the Saada wars. He stated that the militia benefits greatly from the al-Qaeda Organization and works with this organization in the manufacture of explosives and mines under the supervision of Iranian and Hezbollah experts.

And al-Fahd criticized the international silence on this matter, which made the militia boast about this coordination and hold meetings for the elements of the terrorist organization to carry out terrorist crimes targeting the security and stability of the liberated areas.
