The deputy head of the Information and Culture Department of the Yemeni Islah Party, Adnan al-Audaini, said that the member of the Supreme Authority of the Yemeni Islah Party, Mr. Muhammad Qahtan, pays for his and his party position classified by the Houthi group as an enemy, but at the top of the list of its enemies since its emergence and until now.

In his publication on Facebook, al-Audaini confirmed that the Houthi group treated Qahtan and his family differently more than the rest of the families of the abducted.

Al-Audaini added by saying “Until today, there is no information about Qahtan and no one can contact with him, as well as his fate is unknown. Also, Houthi group deals with Qahtan's party differently more than the rest of the political parties, where it announced the ban of the party, the confiscation of its headquarters and the abduction of its leaders and activists.”

Al-Audaini referred to the leak of information about all those who disappeared in Houthi detention camps and that they appear in a sequential manner, except for Qahtan, no one knows about him.

Al-Audaini ridiculed what is being promoted by some that there is a rapprochement between the Houthi group and the Yemeni Islah Party. He wondered whether this debauchery in animosity was caused by the rapprochement between the Islah Party and the Houthi group or it is the clear difference between the fate of the Yemeni society and its right to live and enjoy its full freedom.

Al-Audaini pointed out that “the position that is difficult for many to do, and instead of simulations, they are reducing the position itself.”
