Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Brigadier General Tariq Muhammad Abdullah Saleh, head of the Political Bureau of the National Resistance, received today in the interim capital, Aden, Acting Secretary-General of the Yemeni Islah Party, MP Abdul Razzaq al-Hajri and a member of the Supreme Authority of the Yemeni Islah Party, Mr. Ahmed al-Qumyiri.

The leaders of the Yemeni Islah Party renewed their blessing for the formation of the Presidential Leadership Council, stressing their support for the council, as well as unifying efforts and capabilities in the battle to restore the state.

And the leadership of the Islah Party praised the positions of Brigadier General Tariq Saleh in the face of the Houthi militia.

It stressed the importance of uniting the ranks and the national front until the state is restored and the suffering of the Yemeni people is lifted, which the Houthi militia coup had caused this suffering as well as its barbaric war against the Yemenis.

The meeting that took place between the two sides discussed the latest developments on the national arena, foremost of which are the outcomes of the Yemeni-Yemeni consultations that were held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, appreciating the efforts of the brothers in the Gulf Cooperation Council and the support provided by the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to the Yemeni government and people.

For his part, Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Brigadier Tariq Muhammad Abdullah Saleh, praised the efforts and roles of the Yemeni Islah Party in confronting the Houthi militia and the Imami project.

He stressed that recent developments are working to establish a new phase in the history of Yemen entitled consensus and alignment in the face of national challenges, foremost of which is confronting the Houthi militias, rebuilding state institutions and achieving security, stability and development.

He noted the need for all political forces to benefit from the lessons of the past, work hard and sincerely for the sake of the homeland, stand united and direct all efforts towards the fateful battle with the only common enemy represented by the Iranian Houthi militia.

The Vice President of the Presidential Leadership Council called for the activation of communication and coordination committees between the political components, the control of political and media discourse and the establishment of a charter of honor to isolate the platforms of incitement and sedition.

The meeting was attended by Brigadier General Sadiq Duwayd, head of the Oversight and Inspection Authority in the Political Bureau of the National Resistance, and Hamid Ghaleb, Deputy Head of the Political and External Relations Department.
