Under the chairmanship of a member of the Supreme Authority and Head of the Parliamentary Bloc, Mr. Abdul Razzaq Al-Hajri in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, the leadership of the Yemeni Islah Party met today, Tuesday, with His Excellency the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to our country, Mr. Muhammad Saeed Al Jaber.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Ahmed al-Qumayri, a member of the Supreme Authority of the Islah Party, and the deputy head of the Parliamentary Bloc, the head of the Aden Islah Party, MP Ensaf Mayo.

During the meeting, a number of issues related to the situation in Yemen were discussed, as well as the insistence of the Houthi militia to thwart all initiatives and efforts aimed at establishing peace.

And the leadership of the Islah Party valued the fraternal role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its positions in support of Yemen, efforts to restore the state and support legitimacy, praising the solid historical relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples.

The leadership stressed that the Yemeni people will not forget the historical position of the brothers in the Arab Alliance led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting the Yemeni people, as well as supporting their legitimate leadership in the face of the Houthi militia and the Iranian project, in addition to economic and humanitarian support they offer.

The leadership of the Islah Party drew the ambassador’s attention to the continuous efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to complete the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement in order to unify the national forces and direct energies towards the battle to liberate Yemen from the grip of the militia, which implements an agenda hostile to Yemen and its Arab surroundings.

For his part, Ambassador Muhammad Al Jaber discussed the role of the Yemeni Islah Party and its national efforts in the battle to restore the Yemeni state within the framework of legitimacy, in addition to its great sacrifices for the liberation of Yemen and the return of legitimacy.

Al Jaber stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will continue to support Yemen, the political solution based on the three references, the unification of the Yemeni national forces in order to restore the state and support the government's efforts to serve the Yemeni people and the return of security and stability to Yemen.
