A Yemeni human rights source stated that the Houthis are continuing violations increasingly month after month, violating all laws and rights and that the Houthis' tampering has directly affected civilians, and children and women are more vulnerable to these violations.

And the source explained: “What is happening is increasing dramatically because there is no deterrent or there are no neutral human rights organizations that convey the reality as it is, but rather, there are operations of disguised organizations operating under the cover of the Houthis, and their employees are all Houthis who receive salaries, and therefore these organizations will not convey the truth and will not document any violations.” For its part, the Human Rights Information and Training Center (HRITC) announced the documentation of 69 cases of violations that affected civilians in Taiz Governorate last November and said that its field team documented the killing of 7 civilians, including a woman, at the hands of the Houthi militia.

Where 4 civilians, including one woman, were killed by mortars and heavy artillery, while two civilians were shot by a militia sniper, and another person was killed by a direct bullet.

Civilian casualties:

The field center team was able to monitor the injury of 12 civilians, including a woman and two children, in which the Houthi militia caused the injury of 5 civilians, including a woman and two children, where 3 civilians, including two children, were injured by various artillery shells, while a woman was wounded by a militia sniper bullet.

And 4 civilians were injured as a result of beatings by armed men outside the framework of the state. And the team was able to document 3 cases of mass displacement that occurred as a result of the intense and direct bombardment of the Houthi militia, in addition to two cases of assault committed by out-of-state militants.

And the report indicated that a new bloody massacre was committed by the Houthi militia, by its bombing with a mortar shell on the Al-Ash`ab village at Habashi Mountain, which resulted in the deaths of 3 civilians and the injury of two other people, including a child. During the month of November, the Houthi militia intensified its violent and direct bombardment of residential neighborhoods in the city of Taiz and a number of villages and countryside overcrowded with civilians, on a regular and almost daily basis, which prompted dozens of families to flee away from their homes and areas.

Property damage:

The field team monitored 44 cases of damage to public and private property, two of them to public property, where a police station and a military patrol were damaged as a result of the Houthi militia using the bombing of a drone.

42 cases of violations of private property were documented, while 8 houses were completely damaged, 18 were partially damaged, and 7 vehicles were damaged as a result of the bombing by the Houthi militia.

3 houses and two vehicles were partially damaged by artillery shelling by the government army, 5 houses were blown up by the Houthi militia, and one vehicle was partially damaged by out-of-state gunmen.

Death road:

And the report dealt with the Haijat Al-Abed road, which is the only artery that saved the city of Taiz during the seven years of the siege that has been in place until now. And this road is considered one of the most difficult and dangerous roads to become one of the windows of free death because of its expiration date, which turned it into the road of death instead of the lifeline after many accidents occurred on it. And the report reviewed a number of accidents and overturning of trucks loaded with goods during the month of November, causing the death of two children and injuring two others and their mother.

After starving them.. The Houthis are torturing more than 620 abductees:

In the same context, the Association of the Yemeni Abductees' Mothers accused the Houthi militia of torturing more than 620 abducted and forcibly disappeared persons, stressing that they live in tragic conditions and inhumane conditions of detention, where medical negligence is practiced against them, deprivation of winter clothes and preventing them from bringing medicines and food.

In a protest held in front of the International Red Cross headquarters in Sana’a (Sunday), the association called for international action to save them, stressing the need for the Red Cross to visit prisons and inspect the conditions of detainees there, especially the sick abducted and detainees. And the Association announced that its team monitored that there are 507 abducted civilians living in painful conditions. And the Association said that the militia confiscated blankets and winter clothes from the families of the abducted prisoners in the Al-Saleh prison and these items were prevented from reaching their relatives.

And the Association appealed to human rights activists and human rights organizations to stand with the abducted, forcibly disappeared and arbitrarily detained and to support their just cause until they are released and their suffering ends.

On the other hand, the Houthi militia stormed a house for teaching the Holy Qur’an, eradicating illiteracy and teaching women in Al-Rumh neighborhood in the Dar Al-Sharaf area in the city of Ibb and looted all its contents, justifying the need to turn it into a police station. However, civilians confirmed that the militia wants to hand over the building as a residence for one of the Houthi leaders.
