Only a few hours had passed since the assassination crime of the leader in the Yemeni Islah Party in Aden, Ehab Bawazeer, who was the director of Quran memorization in the Education Office in the Governorate until the hands of criminality that had colored Aden with the color of blood tried to assassinate the director of the Education Office in Khor Maksar Saleh Fadhl on Wednesday morning, and was injured as a result.

The sinful hands were waiting for Bawazir last Tuesday morning, and when he left his job place, they fired bullets of death at him, to join a group of martyrs who were the target of the terror and death machine that distorted the face of the peaceful city of Aden.

And the Yemeni Islah Party in the interim capital, Aden, condemned this crime, which made the city of Aden lose one of its scientific and professional cadres, where he had a long history in the educational process there. The hands of treachery killed him in cold blood, pointing out that the hands of criminality relished these terrorist operations being carried out against the cadres of the Islah party and other political and social forces in Aden, in implementation of schemes to empty Aden of its scientific, social and political cadres in favor of projects of ruin and chaos, driven by feelings of hatred and its bloody nature, criticizing at the same time the continued silence of the government, the presidency and the international community.

The Islah Party is in the crosshairs of terrorism:

And after carrying out every criminal assassination that affects a leader or a cadre of its cadres, the Islah Party renews its call to the authorities represented by the government and the presidency, as well as the international community, to conduct an urgent investigation into all these crimes, to work to stop the bloodshed and the ongoing systematic targeting against Aden and to restore the status and symbolism of this city, but, unfortunately, its demands to quickly take the necessary measures to prosecute the terrorist perpetrators have not been responded to until today.

And on more than one occasion, the Islah Party asserts that the effective presence of the state, its institutions and security services is the solution to achieving security and stability and preserving blood from the hands of terrorism that have tampered with Aden since its liberation.

Also, leaders in the Islah Party had confirmed more than once or through Party statements, that the Islah Party had become the first target for the tools of murder, assassinations and terrorism, especially in Aden, where about 20 Party leaders were martyred by the bloody assassination weapon, which affected dozens of political and social personalities, as well as humanitarian cadres, preachers, imams of mosques, educators and academics, in continuing in extinguishing the city’s candles and stifling its breath with the weapon of death, and emptying it of its most prominent social dignitaries.

The guillotine of terrorism makes Aden bleed:

Since the assassination of the former governor of Aden Jaafar Saad in October 2015, that is, only two months after the city was liberated from the grip of the terrorist Houthi militia, the counter of assassinations has not stopped turning, violating the security of the city of Aden and its social peace, leaving stains of blood, and with it, tragedies, chaos and devastation, in clear synergy with the shameful crimes and tragedies committed by the terrorist Houthi militia against Yemenis.

Whenever the state and its institutions are absent, a long series of military and civilian casualties escalate, and the militias become the masters of the security scene. And these militias have turned Aden into an arena of murder and horrific crimes, while Aden was supposed to be the most beautiful face of Yemen, which yearns for deliverance from the coup militia and behind it the Iranian project.

And the matter reached the point of assassinating minds and hands that heal wounds, which happened last November 5, when the hand of terrorism was launched in an attempt to assassinate the Vice President of the University of Aden, a leader in the Islah Party, Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Aqlan, and he was seriously injured.

And in early July, terrorists assassinated the leader in the Islah Party, Bilal al-Maisari, in front of his child, next to his house in Aden. At that time, Bilal al-Maisari represented the 15th victim in the list of victims of assassinations of Islah Party cadres and activists in Aden during the past years, as well as dozens of arrests and enforced disappearances of Party cadres and cases of raids into its headquarters.

According to a statistic issued by the Coordination of Advocacy for Victims of Assassinations in Aden, the city has witnessed, since July 2015, the killing of at least 200 cases of physical liquidation, targeting the best men and cadres of Aden, and all these incidents were registered against an unknown.

Present hands of darkness and absent justice:

Despite the announcement of the arrest of the killers of Governor Jaafar Saad and the disclosure of the details of the assassination attempt on the head of the Executive Office of the Islah Party in Aden Governorate, Representative Ansaf Mayo via the American “Buzzfeed” website, justice is still absent in these two crimes in particular, like the rest of the crimes, even if the investigations of the Public Prosecution revealed information about crimes and members of the assassination cells, as happened in the case of the assassination of Sheikh Samhan al-Rawi. Even the report of the United Nations Group of Experts on Yemen, in its January 2019 report, went to claims the responsibility of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council forces for the assassinations of a number of religious scholars, political activists and leaders of the Islah Party in Aden, and even the director of operations at the Euro-Mediterranean Observatory confirmed that the escalation of political assassinations in Aden is a natural result of the impunity enjoyed by the perpetrators of previous crimes, without any actual moves from the de-facto authority to protect the targets or even hold those responsible for the previous assassinations accountable.

Following the assassination of Ehab Bawazir, Minister of Youth and Sports, Nayef al-Bakry, in a tweet on Twitter, he considered that this comes as a continuation of the scheme of the hands of darkness at the hands of evil when they have assassinated him while he was leaving his workplace.

While Dr. Muhammad Jumaih, Yemen’s ambassador to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), wondered the guilt of Ihab Bawazeer, director of the Department of Memorization of the Noble Qur’an in the Education Office in Aden, who is a peaceful man and an educational expert who has nothing to do with the conflict but they shoot him dead.

And Jumaih added: "Hundreds of crimes took place in Aden without any accountability measures, even for a single criminal." He went on to ask: Why does the crime series continue?
