The Yemeni Islah Party in the interim capital of Aden condemned the assassination crime of the leader in the Islah Party in the Governorate, the teacher and educator Ehab Bawazeer, director of the Holy Quran Schools Department in the Education Office in the Governorate.

In its statement, the Aden Islah Party described the assassination crime of Bawazir on Tuesday in the city of Aden as a heinous act of terrorism.

And the statement pointed out that targeting the martyr Bawazir was carried out in a treacherous manner while he was safe while leaving his workplace and performing his duty in the Education Office.

The statement said that Aden lost one of its educational and professional staff, and a man with a long record in the educational process in it, as he was shot dead in cold blood in the city of Khor Maksar, which is crowded with security points like other cities of Aden, and its streets are spread by surveillance cameras that disappear strangely during the implementation of these assassinations.

It added: "The hands of crime continued these terrorist operations against the cadres of the Islah Party and other political and social forces in Aden, in implementation of the schemes to empty Aden of its scientific, social and political cadres in favor of projects of ruin and chaos, and motivated by feelings of hatred and its bloody nature, and at the same time the silence of the government, the presidency and the international community tempt these criminals to continue to carry out these abuses."

It renewed its call to the authorities represented in the government and the presidency, as well as the international community, to conduct an urgent investigation into all these crimes, to work to stop the bloodshed and the continuous systematic targeting against Aden and to restore consideration to its peaceful civil status and symbolism.

Also the Party also calls on all political and social forces to face these acts, their perpetrators, planners, supporters and financiers.

And the Aden Islah Party valued all the free stances of the people of Aden and all parts of the country and the leaders of public opinion who record honorable positions in expressing their rejection of these crimes.

It stressed that these ongoing crimes against Islah Party’s affiliates, whether they are individuals or leaders, do not fall under the statute of limitations and that the series of targeting the Party through terrorist and criminal operations and various forms of exclusion will not hinder it from its national role and mission in adopting the people’s choices, their right to live in dignity, and their hopes for a future worthy of it.

The hands of treachery and criminality carried out this morning, Tuesday, December 7, 2021, the assassination of the leader in the Yemeni Islah Party in the interim capital of Aden, "teacher and educator Ehab Bawazeer", director of the Department of the Holy Quran Schools in the Education Office in the Governorate, in a new terrorist crime that shook the city of Aden and came days after the attempted assassination of Dr. Muhammad Aqlan - Chairman of the Shura Council of the Islah Party in the Governorate and the former head of Its Executive Office - Vice President of the University of Aden.

At a time when the Islah Party in Aden expresses its condemnation of this heinous terrorist act and renews its call to the government authorities and the presidency, as well as the international community to conduct an urgent investigation into all these crimes, to work to stop the bloodshed and the continued systematic targeting against Aden, to restore consideration to the status and symbolism of a peaceful city and its call to all political and social forces to stand in the face of these acts, their perpetrators, planners, supporters and financiers, it values all the free stances of the people of Aden and all parts of the country and leaders of public opinion who record honorable positions in expressing the rejection of these crimes, and offers its sincere condolences to the family of the victim Ehab Bawazir, asking God to accept him among the martyrs and the righteous.

And the Islah Party in Aden renews its demand to the Minister of Interior, the government, the local authority and all the security-related authorities in Aden to quickly take security and legal measures to reveal the perpetrators and those behind them, and to stand seriously in the face of these criminal incidents and to do their duty to protect the citizen and the human right to life. It called on all political, social and union forces to align themselves in the face of this malicious destructive series and work to stop the bleeding of innocent blood in Aden. In particular, it called on officials in the local authority in the governorate and its security department to stop ignoring the community's demands for its right to know what is related to these incidents.

It stressed that these ongoing crimes against Islah Party’s affiliates, whether they are individuals or leaders, do not fall under the statute of limitations and that the series of targeting the Party through terrorist and criminal operations and various forms of exclusion will not hinder it from its national role and mission in adopting the people’s choices, their right to live in dignity, and their hopes for a future worthy of it.
