"We no longer see anything of the civilization in Ibb governorate except structures and names. The putschists have completely emptied everything from its content, and the governorate with all its cities, streets and neighborhoods has become similar to an old popular market controlled by the Sheikh of the market with his decisions and orders, and there is no place in it for the state and its constitutional laws."

This is how the university young man (Muhammad A. S.) the scene in Ibb governorate under its growing crisis in all areas of life.

The 40-year-old Muhammad is one of those who lost their sources of income as a result of the Houthi coup. The living conditions made him resort to taking the rest of his wife’s jewelry and selling it, then for the value of that jewelry he bought some cosmetics, and he sat every day next to his house waiting for a consumer to come to buy such things, which have become luxuries in a society where the individual no longer thinks of anything other than what he needs from the necessary food that feeds and distances his family about the humiliation of begging.

There is no longer anything reassuring under the control of the Houthi militia and its supervisors, and the domination of its influential affiliated with it, the launch of the hands of Vid, looting, robbery, the restriction on sellers of all levels, lack of job opportunities, interruption of salaries, suspension of social security allocations and the insane rise in the prices of foodstuffs and oil derivatives because the governorate is going through is a real, stifling and unprecedented crisis, although many of its sons to practice various works in a miserable attempt to escape the ghost of poverty, which has been ruled on the most residents of the province.

Thus, the situation in Ibb Governorate appears under a criminal gang control and manages its affairs with iron, fire, and with the mentality of enslaving, and with a racist and supremacist look, as no voice is louder than the voice of the supervisor.

The Houthi militias deliberately create terrifying chaos by creating many humanitarian crises and provoking security and living problems that affect the daily reality of the population, in the manner that allows this terrorist faction to strengthen its grip on the ground.

Residents of Ibb Governorate complain about the high level of crime of all kinds and the spread of chaos, due to the insecurity resulting from the absence of the state, in addition to the criminal practices of the killing gangs affiliated with the leaders of the coup militias.

A local report issued earlier confirms that Ibb Governorate under the control of Houthis saw during the mid-last year 2020 and the present year, a state of huge security chaos was accompanied by an unprecedented increase in crime rates.

The report shows the fall of 350 people and injured within six months of 2020 in various directorates and regions of Ibb, in addition to registration of about 1,700 incidents represented in crime od murder, attempted murder, larcenies, armed robbery, highway robbery, property looting and selling and promoting drugs.

The report recorded 105 crimes of premeditated aggravated murders, 20 non-intentional murders, 227 crimes in attempted murder, not to mention other crimes that were not seized or registered in a number of towns and regions in the Governorate's Directorates.

The deterioration of the situation in Ibb Governorate, especially economic conditions, some of which push many citizens to wish death and commit suicide, where the number of victims of suicide in Ibb rose in an unprecedented way. Where one of the statistics recorded more than 29 cases during the past few months. In most of the suicide victims, the sources indicate that the deterioration of the living situation resulting from the coup and the war is the main reason that citizens resort to because from their point of view is the only salvation of all those pressures and living obligations.

Education in Ibb Governorate was also subject to tampering and corruption in its worst forms, where the Houthi militia practiced tampering with the educational process, taking advantage of its control and tightening its grip on education in its two parts, "higher education" and "public education". After the militias expelled more than 500 teachers from their jobs, according to educational sources, and others fled for fear of the Houthi militia’s oppression, the militia replaced them with hundreds of its affiliated members who do not have the slightest teaching qualifications.

The Houthi militia has expanded the policy of transforming public schools to evening religious centers, like Shi'ite Hawzas in Iran and southern Lebanon, seeking to create generations of extremists of suicide, where the militia named the religious centers recently launched "Modern evening schools" and rely on investment the state school halls in the evening.

According to sources, the number of these extremist sectarian centers has reached in the thousands, as they were opened in more than 2,000 government schools spread in the Governorates of Sana’a, Dhamar, Taiz, Ibb, Hajjah, Mahwit and Hodeidah, including 200 schools in Ibb Governorate alone.
