Member of the Supreme Authority of the Yemeni Islah Party, head of the Parliamentary Bloc, MP Abdul Razzaq al-Hajri, affirmed that the Islah Party will not be but with the efforts aimed at stopping the war, bringing peace to Yemen and restoring the state that guarantees the rights and dignity of Yemenis.

In a meeting between al-Hajri and the Deputy United Nations envoy to Yemen, Mr. Moeen Shreim, last Thursday - in the presence of the Deputy Head of the Parliamentary Bloc of the Islah Party, Head of the Islah Party’s branch in Aden MP Insaf Mayo - al-Hajri appreciated all international efforts that lead to an end to the coup and the war that erupted because of the Houthi militia.

Al-Hajri reiterated that the legitimacy made major concessions in order to end the war and its causes, the importance of disarming the militias and that the popular will is the final arbiter.

Al-Hajri made it clear that the Houthi militia is exploiting the humanitarian file in order to achieve political and military gains, and it does not care about the suffering of the Yemeni people, stressing at the same time the continuation of the international community's role in the in this regard.

He considered that the inaction of the international community regarding the terrorism and crimes of the Houthi militia has encouraged the perpetration of more crimes, the insistence on fighting the Yemenis and the escalation of its criminal violations by bombing civilians with ballistic missiles and drones on the city of Marib, which is crowded with population and displaced persons and other governorates.

Al-Hajri praised the efforts of the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia aimed at completing the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement, including the military and security aspect, which forms the basis for stabilizing the situation and efforts to restore the state.

For his part, the Deputy International Envoy stressed the importance of launching a comprehensive political process that leads to a ceasefire and a political settlement.

He also touched on the efforts of former UN envoy Martin Griffiths, praising the Islah Party's dealing with these efforts within the components of the legitimacy, wishing for cooperation with the new UN envoy.
