Muammar al-Iryani, Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, condemned in the strongest terms the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia targeting a popular market in the Raghwan Directorate - Marib Governorate, using an Iranian-made drone.

In a statement made to the Yemeni News Agency Saba, the Minister of Information made it clear that the attack, which resulted in the deaths of a number of civilians, came in light of a continuous military escalation waged by the terrorist Houthi militia on various battlefronts in the Marib Governorate.

Al-Eryani pointed out that the crime of targeting a popular market in the Raghwan Directorate by the Houthi militia is an extension of its systematic targeting of civilian objects and its intention to inflict the largest number of civilian casualties, which amounts to war crimes and crimes against humanity. And this is a flagrant violation of international laws and charters.

Al-Eryani renewed the call on the international community, the United Nations, the United Nations and the US envoys to Yemen to condemn this heinous crime and all the crimes of the terrorist Houthi militia, and to exert more pressure on the militia leaders to stop their daily crimes and violations against civilians and work to re-include the militia on the terrorist lists.
