The murder of an Uzbek doctor in Ibb after he was abducted by the Houthi militia

A foreign doctor died in Ibb governorate of days after he was abducted and imprisoned by the Houthi coup militia.

Local sources said that the Uzbek orthopedic surgery doctor at the Sary Hospital in the city of Yarim, north of Ibb governorate, was killed on Friday in a prison of the Houthi militia four days after his abduction.

The sources added that the Houthi militia had stormed the residence of the Uzbek orthopedic surgery doctor on Tuesday. During the abduction, the Uzbek was with another Tajik doctor named Hassan Amshirov and a Yemeni person named As'ad Sary, where they were in their residence next to the Sary Hospital and they were abducted and taken to a special prison of the militia.

According to the sources, the Uzbek doctor, Azzam, is an orthopedic surgery doctor at the Sary Hospital in the city. He is married to a Yemeni woman from Yarim and has two children.

The sources pointed out that the Uzbek doctor died as a result of the torture in the prisons of the Houthi coup militia, in light of the kidnappings in the prisons of the militia in light of the exposure of the abductees in the prisons of the militia for the appalling psychological and physical torture.

With the murder of the Uzbek doctor, the number of victims of torture in the prisons of the Houthi coup in Ibb governorate rises to 12 abductees and more than 130 abductees in various governorates controlled by the Houthi militia.

According to other sources, the militia of Houthi transferred the body of the doctor to a mortuary in a government hospital, while the militia continues to kidnap the other Tajik doctor and Yemeni employee.

The governorate of Ibb is witnessing widespread violations of human rights and several crimes committed by the Houthi militias in the various districts of the governorate, where they amounted to more than 7000 crimes and violations within four years, according to human rights and local reports.
