Secretary-General of the Yemeni Islah Party, Mr. Abdulwahab al-Ainsi, said that Arab countries need to benefit from China's successful experiences at various levels.
"This conference, which coincides with the fifth anniversary of the presentation of the Belt and Road Initiative, makes us wondering about how the possibility of benefiting from this initiative, which aims at opening the way for the flow of ideas and exchange of experiences, before it can be used as a bridge for the exchange of products and commodities," he said in his speech to the CPC-Arab Dialogue Conference held in Hangzhou, China.
Al-Anisi expressed his hope that this conference will contribute to strengthening the relations between our Arab countries and China, strengthening the relations between the parties in the Arab region and the Communist Party of China and benefiting from the achievements of the Republic of China in many fields.
He said that the conference coincides with the 40th anniversary of the implementation of the reform and opening-up policy, which played a major role in China's huge transition to an advanced stage.
Al-Anisi explained that Yemen's relationship with China has been a deep-rooted for decades and has witnessed a remarkable development over the last two decades. He hopes that the relationship will move to a new stage in which China, which is the second economic power in the world, will be a real partner in helping Yemen to stabilize and support it so as it to stand on its feet after suffering from this cruel ordeal.
"In Yemen, we are fighting a difficult and tough battle to restore the state and achieve peace and stability. Therefore, we extend our hand to all those who have the ability to contribute to the peace making, where the humanitarian situation has reached a tragic situation, all these because of the coup and the war waged by the Houthi rebel group," he said.
Al-Anisi expressed the appreciation of the Yemeni Islah Party for this kind invitation presented from the leadership of the Communist Party of China, stressing the keenness of Islah Party to strengthen the relationship with this leading party to benefit from their long experience in party work and communication with the masses in order to strengthen relations between the two countries and strengthen the bonds of friendship between the two peoples.
It is noteworthy that the second session of the Arab parties' dialogue with the Communist Party of China is attended by 68 members of the Arab political leaders, in addition to a number of leaders of the Communist Party.
This conference was called for by Chinese President Xi Jinping, which proposed its initiative in 2013, where this initiative aims at building a network of trade and infrastructure that links Asia to the two continents of Africa and Europe along the ancient Silk Road tracks and beyond. It is a comprehensive initiative that includes strengthening cultural ties among different peoples.
