The Yemeni Islah Party in Aden condemned the criminal operation that targeted one of its figures this morning in the Directorate of Mu'alla in the interim capital of Aden.

A statement issued by the Islah Party in Aden mentioned that the operation was aimed at Mr. Sadiq Ahmed al-Muhammad and a number of his colleagues, who survived from the attempt while one of his colleagues was injured in various injuries.

The Islah Party renewed its call to the President of the Republic, the legitimate government, and the brothers in the Arab Alliance to speed up the work to confront this terrorist and criminal series and put an end to these criminal acts.

The text of the Statement:

The Yemeni Islah Party, in the interim capital of Aden, condemns the terrorist act that targeted one of its activists this morning in al-Mu'alla Directorate with an assassination attempt.

Mr. Sadiq Ahmed Muhammad and a number of his colleagues survived from the assassination attempt that targeted his life directly, resulting in injury to one of his colleagues with various injuries.

The Islah Party also condemns the terrorist act that was targeted this morning in al-Mu'alla Mr. Adel al-Ja'adi by blowing up his car. The coincidence of the two terrorist incidents affirms the deplorable behavior of those criminal mentalities that have led to murder and criminality and the extent to which their serious crimes are carried out.

The Islah Party in Aden renews its call to the President of the Republic, the Government and the brothers in the States of the Arab Alliance to speed up the work to confront this terrorist and criminal series, and calls upon all political and social forces to express their rejection of these terrorist and criminal acts and aligning for peace and stability.

The Islah Party also affirms that its positions will remain firm and principled in rejecting the conduct of violence and terrorism. It expressed its regret over the silence of the government in front of the killings, arrests and incitement of the media, and the continued occupation of its headquarters in the biggest attack against a political party in the liberated areas, stressing the right to prosecute anyone found to be involved in those attacks.
