The National Alliance of the Political Parties and Forces condemned the horrific crime committed by the terrorist Houthi militia against civilians in the densely populated and displaced Marib city, which was the targeting of Al-Rawda neighborhood in Marib Governorate with a ballistic missile, which resulted in the death and injury of 20 civilians, including children.

In the statement issued by the National Alliance, it consider that this massacre, the heinous crime, the continued killing of civilians and the targeting of cities is an affirmation that the Houthi militias are continuing their terrorist approach and cannot incline to peace or respond to regional and international efforts aimed at stopping the war.

The National Alliance made it clear that this is the approach taken by the Houthi militia since its inception, its rebellion and its coup against the Yemeni state and the decisions of international legitimacy, according to the Yemeni news agency Saba.

The National Alliance confirmed that the militias, as a tool of the Iranian project in the region, have proven that they do not care about the blood and lives of civilians or human rights for the sake of implementing their bloody project, which sees in the Yemeni people that they are enemies or fuel for war, and this makes us more confident that our national army and the national resistance are only they are able to eradicate these militias, end the coup and stop their terrorist massacres that are being carried out against our Yemeni people in Marib and other Governorates, and that the way to that is to complete the liberation and restore the homeland from the hands of these terrorist militias.

It said that the leniency and disregarding shown by the international community towards the terrorist crimes carried out by the Houthi militia encouraged it to continue its horrific massacres against civilians, the continuation of its war and the escalation and targeting of civilians and civilian objects, whether in Yemen or in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

It stressed that in view of this heinous crime and the previous crimes committed by the Houthi militia, the international community must classify this group as a terrorist organization and prosecute its leaders, support the legitimate government to restore the state in our country, achieve security and stability and ridding the Yemeni people of the suffering resulting from the coup and the war imposed by the Houthi militias, in addition to condemning the Iranian regime that funds the militia and runs its barbaric war on Yemenis.

In its statement, the National Alliance called on the United Nations and its envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths, to assume their responsibilities regarding this terrorism practiced by the militia that feeds on the blood of civilians. It also called on the countries of the whole world, foremost of which the permanent members of the Security Council, to classify the Houthi militia as a terrorist organization, to take all measures that stop its bloodshed of our people and our neighbors and its threat to international peace and security.

Local and medical sources said that the Houthi militia targeted the gas station while dozens of cars were waiting to be supplied with gasoline, which led to the outbreak of a massive fire, which resulted in the death of 14 civilians, including the five-year-old girl, Layan Taher Muhammad Ayed Faraj, and the injury of 5 others, including a child, as well as the burning of 7 cars.
