The Secretary-General of the Yemeni Islah Party, Mr. Abdulwahab Al-Anisi, met today the Ambassador of the Republic of France to our country, Mr. Christian Testo.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest developments in Yemen and the role of France in bringing peace.

Al-Anisi stressed the necessity of implementing the Riyadh Agreement in a manner that unifies the forces supporting the legitimacy in the face of the Houthi coup.

Al-Anisi praised France's role in supporting the legitimacy and its efforts to find a sustainable solution that preserves Yemen's unity, security and stability in accordance with the three references.

For his part, Ambassador Christian Tiesto renewed his country's support for Yemen and efforts to achieve peace according to the references agreed upon.

He stressed the importance of implementing the Riyadh Agreement and activating the Yemeni state institutions to achieve security, stability and service provision.

The meeting was attended by the French Deputy Ambassador to our country, Christophe Katsahian.
