The appointment of Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik as Prime Minister came at a difficult time and great challenges, said the deputy head of the Information and Culture Department of the Yemeni Islah Party, Adnan al-Audaini. It is worthy to mention that the prime minister has performed today the Constitutional oath before the President Abdurbo Mansour Hadi.

In his tweet on Twitter, al-Audaini wished the new Prime Minister a great success in running the government.

He added: “in this matter, he does not need those who congratulate him, but he needs those who help him and give him sincere advice.”

Al-Audaini affirmed by saying: “We will be of the second category because we keen on the interest of the country and also support the Prime Minister.”

The president Hadi presented to the new Prime Minister a number of priorities and tasks, especially the focus on the economic situation and the provision of services to citizens, as well as other tasks and duties entrusted to him and his cabinet to overcome the challenges of the current reality in various aspects and fields.

The President of the Republic affirmed that the Prime Minister will receive all forms of support so that he and his cabinet members can carry out their duties to serve the citizens and achieve their aspirations for security, stability and decent living.

He added: “We are aware of the magnitude of the difficulties and the current challenges resulting from the war of the Houthi coup and its consequences, but that does not exempt anyone from taking full responsibilities and discuss all possible ways to strengthen the tasks, as well as the implementation of duties and making them successful.”

For his part, the Prime Minister expressed his pleasure and gratitude to His Excellency the President for this trust, which he considers to be his double responsibility that comes in difficult circumstances and an exceptional stage that requires efforts by all to overcome the challenges and to triumph of the will of the people on various fronts.

“We will exert our utmost efforts by taking our directions and our priorities from the directives of His Excellency the President Hadi to discuss all means to overcome the challenges of our current reality and to move together towards building, stability and development with the cooperation and support of our brothers and friends, especially States of Arab Alliance led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”
