An important statement issued by the Yemeni Islah Party in Hadhramawt

 On the occasion of the approaching month of Ramadan, the Yemeni Islah Party in Hadhramawt congratulates and blesses our people in Hadhramawt, all the Yemeni people, and the Arab and Islamic nations as a whole, beseeching God Almighty to grant the nation glory, victory, and empowerment, and to accept their worship and grant them blessing in all aspects of life.

Ramadan this year comes at a time when the suffering of our people is further aggravated as a result of the consequences of the continuation of the unjust war imposed by the criminal Houthi coup militias, which has cast a bad shadow over all aspects of life and from which the Yemeni people have suffered the most over the past ten years.

As a result of this ongoing war, suffering has reached unsustainable levels, affecting citizens' livelihoods and threatening everyone's lives.

Based on the national and humanitarian duty imposed on us by the difficult circumstances that our people are suffering from today from one end to end, we in the Yemeni Islah Party in Hadhramawt raise our voices loudly to everyone concerned to do their duty to alleviate the suffering of this great people.

Firstly, we appeal to the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to perform their duties towards the citizen in a way that guarantees him a decent life, in light of the terrible deterioration in the value of the national currency compared to other currencies, leaving it to plunder and chaos without control or accountability, as well as the low level of per capita income as a result of this in comparison with the crazy rise in the prices of basic foodstuffs, fuel, and the low level of services, especially electricity, health, and the low salaries of employees and teachers because they do not meet the simplest necessities of life, whereas these salaries are nothing compared to the high cost of living without considering and adjusting them in a way that is equivalent to the increase in the rise in prices and the high cost of living, not to mention the disruption of many state institutions and their supervisory, accounting, and legislative bodies.

We also call on the local authorities in Hadhramawt to raise the level of performance commensurate with the stage, give priority to the public interest over party work, activate the local authority bodies in accordance with the law in a way that achieves justice, transparency, and integrity, reduce corruption and nepotism, ensure partnership for all competent people of the Governorate, and limit randomness, improvisation, and individual decisions.

The citizen in Hadhramawt is suffering from a terrible deterioration in services, foremost of which is the electricity service, which suffers from interruptions for long periods during the winter, which threatens a collapse during the coming summer - God forbid - which suggests the failure and lack of seriousness of the authorities in dealing with this important and dangerous issue, especially in hot Governorate, in which temperature and humidity rates are high, as is in Hadhramawt.

We call on the local authority to do its utmost to alleviate the suffering of the people and draw attention to the bad situation that the citizen has reached, represented by the high cost of living, low wages, the deterioration of the currency and services.

We also urge the Arab coalition countries to expand the area of humanitarian aid, especially in the holy month of Ramadan.

We call on all the active forces in the Governorate, including political, societal, and unions parties and components to move and meet in order to discuss the situation and present appropriate visions and solutions, and to rise above the trivial matters and settle private scores, because the matter has become at the level of a public disaster that does not exclude anyone.

As we welcome the holy month of Ramadan, we call on all people to join hands, cooperate and have compassion in order to fill the gaps, help the needy, and check on the conditions of their relatives, neighbors and members of their community.

We also call on financiers, businessmen, and merchants to do business with God first and foremost by helping the deserving, whereas the majority of the people today suffer from need and poverty, feeling the great reward from God and that such situations are an opportunity through which the benefactors draw closer to their Lord and attain the highest ranks with Him.

We also call on all leaders, members, and supporters of the Islah Party to integrate with society, participate in serving the people, and contribute to everything that will benefit and elevate their communities.

In the face of the Zionist crime and international complicity against Palestine in general and Gaza in particular, we affirm our firm position in support of the just Palestinian cause and that it is always the nation’s first central cause until the Palestinian people regain their right and sovereignty over their land and end this unjust Zionist occupation, and that no the crimes of the Zionists and their supporters go unpunished on them and others.

In conclusion, we beg God Almighty to make this Ramadan a month of goodness, conquest, and victory, and to relieve Muslims everywhere of what they are suffering and to change their situation to a better one.
