The Head of the Information and Culture Department of the Yemeni Islah Party, Mr. Ali al-Jaradi, denied any individual contacts or meetings of the Islah Party with the Houthi militia.

In an article published on his official account on the (X) platform today, Wednesday, al-Jaradi confirmed that the Islah Party is part of the institutions of Yemeni legitimacy, within its political components, as well as the National Alliance parties and its political and field forces.

Al-Jaradi made it clear that the legitimate institutions and their components have a declared and clear peace vision based on the outcomes of the national dialogue, political consensus, and international resolutions.

He pointed out that at a time when the Houthi militias are mobilizing fighters to push them to the fronts of Marib, Shabwa, the West Coast, Taiz, and al-Dhalea, they are launching propaganda campaigns as part of the military war they are waging, indicating that the Houthi talk about peace is a military tactic and it sees peace only as an imminent danger represented by society's demands for its rights and entitlements. He added, "Therefore, the Houthis have been resorting to wars since 2004, and whenever the war calms down, they launch a new war to control, intimidate, and plunder society."

Al-Jaradi said that the one who refuses to open a road for the traveler, refuses to pay the salary of an employee for nine years, sends children to the battle fronts and forces academics and researchers to attend combat courses, is far from peace.

He stressed that peace, with its duties to society, freedoms and stability, does not concern the Houthis, but rather it represents a threat to the approach of violence, coercion, and theft of the capabilities of society, as well as a threat to the interests of armed mafias, the war economy and royalties, and major interests that have been formed as a result of swallowing up the capabilities of the Yemeni state since the 2014 coup.

Suspicious websites had falsely claimed that direct secret talks took place between Iran and the Islah Party to negotiate the peace process and post-war arrangements in Yemen, and also falsely claimed that a delegation from the Islah Party visited Tehran.
