Mr. Adnan Al-Audayni, Deputy Head of the Department of Information and Culture and the official spokesman for the Yemeni Islah Party, said that the Islah Party, as a political component, represents all segments of Yemeni society and believes in the just Palestinian cause and the right of the Palestinian people to defend themselves and their land by all means guaranteed to them by international law.

This came during his participation in the virtual symposium on the Palestinian issue held by the Foreign Relations Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China for cadres of parties from Arab countries, which began today, Wednesday.

Al-Audayni expressed his hope that China will play a constructive role in this conflict because of his confidence in its ability to play this role.

He added, "and I think we all share the same idea because solving the Palestinian issue and ending the occupation is the gateway to ending conflicts in the region in a way that opens a space for joint action with all active forces in the world and achieving everyone's interests."

He made it clear that the West’s persistence in supporting the Zionist entity in its war of genocide against the Gaza Strip financially, militarily and medially, which is trying to dismantle the issue and make October 7 the basis of the conflict, stems from the West’s hostility to man as a whole and treating him as if he were a pawn in achieving its capitalist ambitions, moving him in a way that serves its interests and destroying and dismantling him. The Deputy Head of the Information and Culture Department of the Islah Party hinted that the Palestinian-Israeli conflict has transcended its regional borders and has become a global issue that concerns all free people around the world.

Al-Audaini stressed that the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is no longer a conflict between governments and regimes only, or a conflict limited to military, economic, or diplomatic tools only, but that peoples and popular formations have also become active in it to the extent that they are targeted by the Israeli black media and propaganda or by governments supporting her.

He stressed that peoples and popular formations have always been at the heart of the event since the beginning of the conflict.

He added, "We in the Islah Party have always been and will continue to support the right of the Palestinian people to be liberated from colonialism because colonialism is an idea that is incompatible with democracy and human dignity, and it is the issue on which the Islah Party grew up and fought and still struggle for it in all stages of political life."

Al-Audayni explained that it is not possible for those who deny the freedom of peoples and their right to equality and human dignity to support the right of the Palestinian people.

During his speech, he touched on the consensus of many specialists, politicians, and researchers that the Palestinian issue is the key to the solution to all the problems and conflicts of the Middle East.

Al-Audayni stressed that the Palestinian issue is a central issue that is more important than other conflicts, and that there is a direct relationship between it and the rest of the hot issues in the region.

He expressed his thanks to the Chinese Communist Party for organizing this important political symposium, as well as for inviting the Yemeni Islah Party to participate in it alongside this large elite of leaders of political parties and civil organizations in a number of Arab countries.
