Mr. Muhammad Abdullah al-Yadumi, Chairman of the Supreme Authority of the Yemeni Islah Party, signed a statement calling on the leaders of national action and the Palestinian people in general to seize the historic opportunity created by the Operation Toofan of Aqsa last October 7, and act in unison a new patriotic strategy that lives up to the level of disaster and heroism in the Gaza Strip.

The statement, which was signed by the Chairman of the Supreme Authority of the Yemeni Islah Party among more than 100 Arab and Islamic figures, called on the Palestinian leaders to work in unison to confront the plans and conspiracies that are being hatched in secret with the aim of turning the victory they achieved into a defeat and the available opportunity into a threat in order to inflict a new catastrophe on the Palestinian people and displace them from their land and home country.

The statement/initiative identified three tasks that top the agenda of Palestinian patriotic, Arab national, and UN action, starting with ending the war of ethnic cleansing and genocide practiced by the occupation army, backed up by well-known colonial parties that are stationed in Gaza and also affecting the West Bank and Jerusalem, then lifting the siege and opening the crossings unconditionally introducing relief and humanitarian aid, withdrawing the invading occupation forces, supporting the Palestinian resistance in completing a comprehensive deal to exchange prisoners and detainees that ends with zeroing Israeli prisons that are crowded with thousands of Palestinian prisoners and detainees.

The statement gave special importance to uniting Palestinian, Arab, and international ranks to confront the conspiracy being hatched to forcibly displace the Palestinian people. Israel is trying to impose forced displacement on the Palestinian people by transforming their cities and towns into places unfit for human living. Israel's leaders do not hide these plots, but rather insist on implementing them in various forms and tools, to interpret of their dark dream of establishing a pure Jewish state from the river to the sea after expelling the country's indigenous population.

The signatories of the statement/initiative warned of the severe dangers inherent in the conspiracy to create an obedient leadership imposed on the Palestinian people against their will.

The signatories of the statement/initiative called on faction leaders and Palestinian pateriotic figures to take the initiative without delay to form a comprehensive Palestinian pateriotic reference that would be temporary and transitional. This reference includes all forces, factions, and pateriotic figures inside and outside the occupied country, foremost of which are the Fatah and Hamas movements, and all other Palestinian national and Islamic action factions. This reference is built on the basis of full partnership without exclusion or marginalization, and its mission is to take the lead in communications and negotiations in everything related to Gaza, its people, its resistance, and Palestine and its cause within the framework of the Palestine Liberation Organization in order to work to revive it and activate its institutions until it becomes capable to embody its role as the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people in word and deed, as well as to rid it of the state of stagnation and marginalization for many years.

The signatories of the statement/initiative called for liberating the Authority and the organization from the restrictions of the Oslo Accords that burdened it, and which were kicked by the occupation and trampled on by the tanks and armored vehicles in Gaza and the West Bank. They also called for strengthening the option of resistance in all its forms after this enemy has proven that it only understands the language of force, and to work to rebuild the political system on the basis of a creative and creative mixture of various forms of resistance, most notably armed resistance as long as it is a legitimate right for any people suffering under the fire of occupation, settlement and racism, according to various religious and manmade laws.

The signatories of the statement/initiative urged calling on the Palestinian leaders to quickly form a government of technocratic competencies responsible for reuniting the institutions in Gaza and the West Bank, working to accelerate the introduction of relief and humanitarian aid to the various regions of the Gaza Strip, and opening a rapid line to the reconstruction of the Gasa Strip, because it's a task that can't afford to slowing down and procrastinating in confronting displacement projects, in preparation for paving the way for holding general elections as soon as possible.

These figures concluded their appeal with a call to the leaders of Arab and Muslim countries and the leaders of friendly countries to work to secure a safety net for the people of Palestine, their cause and their valiant resistance, in addition to taking the initiative to recognize with its factions, as essential components of the Palestinian national liberation movement, and to confront attempts at “demonization” and “likening the resistance factions to ISIS,” launched by Israel against the Hamas and Islamic Jihad movements in particular, and the Palestinian people in general, and establishing the best relations and partnerships with the resistance factions within a national strategy based on the consideration that the struggle of the Palestinian people to regain their inalienable rights is a first line of defense for Arab national security and a representation of the highest values of humanity.
