Text of the statement:

The political parties and organizations in Taiz Governorate condemned in the strongest terms the daily shelling and sniping of the city of Taiz and its Directorates during the previous days by the Houthi militia, which resulted in civilian deaths and injuries. And in continuation of its crimes, the criminal Houthi militia today targeted equipment for paving the Kadha road in Taiz with the aim of stopping and obstructing the only road through which civilians pass to escape the suffocating siege imposed by the Houthi militia against Taiz Governorate eight years ago, as if those militias were not satisfied with the siege and closure of roads, but rather resorted to blocking the rest of the roads represent a lifeline for millions of residents of the Governorate.

The repeated violations committed by the Houthi militia reveal the barbarism of these militias, which do not care about all international conventions and human rights. This represents a flagrant disregard for all calls for peace that the region and the international community seek to achieve prove to everyone that peace is a term that is not understood by a racist group whose belief is murder, condescension, and disregard for human rights and life.

For this fact, at the time when the political parties and organizations in Taiz Governorate, renew their condemnation of these barbaric and hostile acts under the alleged peace, demand the following:

- We call on the Presidential Leadership Council, the government, and the military leaders to hold an urgent meeting in order to take measures to respond to the barbarism and arrogance of the Houthi militia.

- We affirm that achieving peace in Yemen and the region, protecting the interests of the people and regional and international interests begins with ending the control of that racist coup group over the country, liberating the capital, Sana'a, and restoring the state that represents all the Yemeni people.

- We call on the countries of the Arab coalition, foremost of which is the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to stand up to the fact that the conclusion of the peace agreement with Al-Houthi only means endangering the security and stability of Yemen and Saudi Arabia in favor of the Persian project lurking in the region with its historical grudges against the Arab nation.

- We assure the international community and the relevant countries that providing incentives to the Houthi militia will not achieve peace, but on the contrary, it will push them to continue their goals and threaten international interests, international security and stability.

- We call on the international community to take a serious and firm stance against the Houthi group, which works to kill peace every day in full view of everyone.

- We call on the international community to respect its decisions and implement the Stockholm Agreement, which stipulated the opening of all Taiz roads closed by Al-Houthi to this day in light of a flagrant violation of human rights and blatant defiance of international agreements and decisions.
