The Executive Office of the Yemeni Islah Party in the Capital Municipality held an Iftar banquet in honor of the party's heroes who were recently released from the prisons of the Houthi coup militia.

In the meeting, the head of the Executive Office of the Islah Party in the Capital Municipality, Mr. Ahmed Muharram, welcomed the heroes, expressing his congratulations to them for gaining their freedom and getting rid of the abduction.

Muharram stressed that the Houthi darkness will not last long and that the Houthis do not have the elements to survive, explaining that the Yemeni people have realized the danger of the coup and the importance of restoring state institutions.

For his part, Fahd al-Wusabi, Acting Legal Department in the Capital Municipality, called on all local and international human rights organizations to document the testimony of the abductees who have been released, to record the crimes they were subjected to in order to convict the perpetrators and to prepare legal and human rights files against the perpetrators of these crimes and submit them to the court so that they receive their deterrent punishment.

During the meeting, the leadership of the Islah Party in the Capital Municipality listened to the details of the abduct narrated by the released heroes, the suffering they had experienced over the past years, and the Houthi crime against them.

The attendees listened to multiple interventions by the released heroes, where they talked about their steadfastness in the face of Houthi terrorism inside the cells throughout the duration of the abduction, and they also talked about the Houthis' attempts to influence the abductees intellectually and culturally.
