Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of God.

The Yemeni Islah Party in the Hudaydah Governorate congratulates the local authority and the citizens of Hudaydah on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, asking God Almighty to grant us all security, stability, goodness, victory, and happiness. Likewise, we congratulate all the great Yemeni people, the political leadership, the Presidential Leadership Council, the government and the Shura Council, and the House of Representatives.

The Yemeni Islah Party calls on the leadership of the local authority to carry out their duties in serving tens of thousands of displaced people by providing services and helping them to face the troubles and hardships of displacement, as well as paying the salaries of the displaced, foremost of those are teachers, and achieving security and stability in the liberated areas.

The Islah Party emphasizes the importance of the role of merchants and owners of capital in making the poor of Hudaydah happy in this holy month, alleviating their suffering and pain and consolidating the values of cooperation, solidarity, and compassion in a way that contributes to meeting their basic needs.

The Islah Party condemns the continuous confiscation of private and public rights of citizens by the Houthi militia, the looting of the revenues of the port of Hudaydah, the continued imposition of levies, and the looting of the citizens' lands. It also condemns the militia’s continuation of killing and displacement projects, where it created camps through which it works to threaten local, regional, and international national security, digging water channels, smuggling Iranian weapons and drugs through sea ports towards the coast of Hudaydah, booby-trapping roads, schools, pastures, beaches, bridges, and mosques by planting minefields in order to kill civilians on a daily basis in full view of everyone. And all of this happened over the course of 9 years of its invasion of the Hudaydah Governorate.

The Islah Party holds the Houthi militia responsible for continuing to destroy the infrastructure, refusing to pay the salaries of employees from the revenues of the port of Hudaydah, and raising the electricity tariff to deprive the population of this service, which is necessary, especially in the month of Ramadan, when the suffering of citizens is exacerbated, while the leaders of the Houthi militia monopolize the electricity service at a time when the citizen suffers from darkness, extreme heat, and deprivation after he became unable to pay the exorbitant electricity bills.

The Islah Party appeals to all humanitarian organizations and the UN mission to condemn all violations and escalation by the Houthi militia against civilians who have become targets of sniping, bombing, mines, and daily killing, especially children and women, as well as the confiscation of the most basic necessities of life. Based on the foregoing, the Islah Party calls on all concerned parties to force the Houthi militia to abide by all international treaties and agreements concluded with it and to hold its leaders accountable as war criminals and rebels against all values, laws, and agreements.

The Islah Party stresses the need for the people of Hudaydah to embody the values of cooperation and revive the spirit of solidarity to face the deterioration of living suffering due to the Houthi militia's continuation of wars, the looting of wealth and revenues, the creation of conflicts and hatred, and the refusal to incline towards peace. Accordingly, the Islah Party calls on the international community to compel the Houthi militia to abide by all international, local and regional treaties and agreements.

The Islah Party calls on all the people of the Hudaydah Governorate and the Tihama political, civil, and military components to unify and intensify efforts and close ranks, which would liberate the Hudaydah Governorate from the clutches of the terrorist Houthi militia.
