Mr. Ali al-Jaradi, Head of the Information and Culture Department of the Yemeni Islah Party, said that the goal of impoverishing the Yemeni people by the Houthi militia is to eliminate the middle class, which is considered the maker of change and transformations in society.

In an article published on his official account on the (X) platform on Saturday, Al-Jaradi mentioned four motives behind the militias linked to Iran deliberately impoverishing the communities they control, making the Houthi militia a model for these militias.

He stressed that the Houthi militia linked to Iran seeks to eliminate the middle class in Yemen, which is considered the maker of change and transformations in society.

He explained that among the Houthi militia's goals in impoverishing Yemeni society under its control is to facilitate the process of mobilizing and winning fighters and activists into its ranks, when these people have no choice but to die of hunger or join the militias.

Al-Jaradi explained that some of the goals of the Houthi project behind the impoverishment of the Yemenis is to accept the ideas of superstition and slavery that sanctify the race, where hunger and ignorance are a suitable environment for that.

Al-Jaradi referred to an old saying that was circulating among the imams of the priesthood (Starve your dog follows you).
