An official source in the General Secretariat of the Yemeni Islah Party was astonished by what was stated in the statement issued by Dr. Ahmed Obaid bin Daghr and Mr. Abdul Aziz Jubari, and that these calls included in the statement were inconsistent with the great sacrifices made by the Yemeni people and ignored the position of the coup rejecting peace, which was and still is a goal and demand for us, however, it was clashing with the Houthi militia's insistence on war over the past years.

And the source added that the challenges that the state suffers from should not be a justification for taking ill-considered steps that may cause the waste of all that the Yemeni people struggled for and for which heroes sacrificed, and it also subjects all of that to loss.

And the source said that the difficult situation requires unifying the efforts of all national forces and expanding the anti-coup front to include all national forces and entities rejecting the war waged by the Houthi group against the Yemeni people for years, as well as working to find viable solutions that do not increase the complication of the situation.

And the source confirmed that the Yemeni people today are defending themselves in the face of the Houthi militia, which has devoted all its efforts to subject Yemen to the Iranian expansionist project with all the dangers and threats it poses to Yemen, the security of the Gulf and the Arab region in general, and the international shipping route, not to mention the Houthi militia's continued refusal to abide by the three references and its imposition of a choice of war as the only means of dealing with the Yemeni people. This is what makes civil and regional peace permanently threatened in case the Houthi group continues to possess arms and can obtain them.

The source reiterated the need to rally around the legitimacy of state institutions under the leadership of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, work from within its official agencies in order to confront all challenges and imbalances in the various state institutions, work to evaluate and improve their performance, as well as stop the collapse of the national currency and address the bad economic conditions that the Yemeni people suffering of in cooperation with the brothers in the Arab Alliance to support the legitimacy led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who have played and are still playing a great and commendable fraternal role in supporting legitimacy militarily, politically, economically and humanitarianly, hoping that the Arab Alliance will continue to do so in a manner that meets the needs of the national battle on the various fronts of confrontation with the rebellion and the coup.

Finally, the source saluted the heroism and sacrifices made by the heroes of the army and popular resistance on various fronts, calling for providing more qualitative support for the army and popular resistance in the battle to restore the state, pointing to the mistake in underestimating this national effort or relinquishing its gains and sacrifices.
