Head of the Information and Culture Department of the Yemeni Islah Party, Mr. Ali al-Jaradi, said that the government delegation participating in the Sweden consultations positively dealt with the topics of the consultation from a purely humanitarian point of view, considering that the agreement is an entrance upon which many points of peace are based.

In an interview conducted with him on the official Yemen channel, al-Jaradi pointed out that the difference in interpretation of the agreement was because of that the agreement has been included general terms needed by the facilitator in order to reach agreements, considering that the interpretation of the militia is far away from reality, which is expressing a desire not to implement.

He explained that the president and the government preferred to go into the case of handing over Hodeidah positively, while the governmental forces are only 3 km from the port, considering that the Sweden agreement does not mean to drop the character of the rebellion from the Houthi group or legitimize it. As well as the agreement does not make the Houthi an equal to the legitimate government. "This party will remain a rebel in front of the whole world and will also remain a rebel unless it he leaves the weapon," he said.

Al-Jaradi added: "We will restore the Yemeni state by peace, which we want and we wish, otherwise we will restore it by force to break the coup, which is irreversible. Hodeidah, Sanaa or any Yemeni governorate will return, because the sacrifices made by the Yemenis were not for the survival of the coup but to end it.

"He pointed out that the international community has committed to many guarantees to the legitimate government in exchange for this agreement, which was approved by the side of the coup, and that the intentions included in those guarantees will be clear soon.

On the concessions made in Sweden, al-Jaradi said that the concessions made by the national delegation aimed to keep Hodeidah, its inhabitants and its institutions away from destruction and ruin, while the military victories of the National Army are continued on the ground. He pointed out that the negotiating delegation showed humanitarian flexibility and responded to international pressure regarding the humanitarian demands, because the negotiating delegation is the concerned as a legitimate authority, considering this concession is positive and is in the national interest.

He pointed to the political pressures that the Yemeni government, Saudi Arabia and the UAE by the parties that invest the humanitarian file and are exploited politically to maintain the current coup role and breathing veins of the Houthis. Al-Jaradi explained that these parties must realize that the humanitarian file and the war in Yemen caused by the president is the Houthi coup against the state. "The withdrawal of the militia from Hodeidah will cut the veins of breath for the coup," he said.

Al-Jaradi pointed out that the humanitarian dimension was present in the mind of the Yemeni government in the file of prisoners, abductees and the forcibly disappeared, because the government is aware of the suffering of their families and relatives, therefore the government has accepted to exchange them with the prisoners of war. Also the two files of Sanaa airport and employees' salaries in return for strong intransigence shown by the coup militia.

Al-Jaradi stressed that the positive treatment shown by the legitimacy with the humanitarian file will not deter the legitimacy of breaking the coup. He also pointed out that the brothers in the Gulf States are aware of the risk of the survival of the Houthi militias as an Iranian arm in the region. "We should not allow Sana'a to become a fourth capital as the Persian expansionist project dreams as an occupation state," he said, stressing the break of the Iranian arm in Yemen, which represents the vital depth of the Gulf and the Arabian Peninsula. In addition, it overlooks the international lanes.

The factors of geography, identity, Arabism, and common destiny that brings us together with the brothers in the Gulf States within the framework of the Arabian Peninsula, necessitate breaking the coup, whether by peace, implementing Resolution 2216 or militarily.

Al-Jaradi said that the concept of national sovereignty required the coup militias, who raise the slogan of national sovereignty, to hand over the city of Hodeidah to the Yemeni forces stationed in the outskirts of the city. "Today, the Yemeni authority, which was present in 2014, will run the city and its port with the supervisory role of the United Nations as well as the presence of a coordinating council from both sides to oversee the withdrawal of Houthi militias and the redeployment of government forces," he added.

On the position of the Islah Party from Sweden's consultations, al-Jaradi said that the Islah believes that the government delegation in Sweden consultations made a constructive and great effort, expressing appreciation for these efforts. He pointed out that the Islah believes that the entrance to the peace is very important after 4 years of war, the fighting and deterioration caused by the coup, after the Yemenis reached an agreement at the National Dialogue Conference, and the preliminary draft of the Yemeni constitution was ready to put to the referendum. Al-Jaradi stressed by saying "We should not forget the main reason that led to the war and the collapse of the humanitarian situation," warning against jumping on this point.

Al-Jaradi stressed that in no way can the settlement be achieved as one integrated package as some people demand, noting that the militias have used arms against the state and the homeland and caused all this local and regional destruction, and that this weapon must be disarmed first until the political process is achieved.

The head of the Information Department of Islah said that seeking to achieve the political framework first, targeting the legitimacy of President Abderbo Mansour Hadi, which came through the Gulf initiative and the elections, and was renewed through the National Dialogue Conference, citing the seriousness of this targeting on legitimacy, calling on all national forces to set aside personal rivalries.

Al-Jaradi noted the role of the Islah Party in providing political, media and social support for the legitimacy and its authorities in various aspects of life, like other political parties do, pointing to the individual involvement of the Islah's members in the national army and popular resistance, stressing the great sacrifices made by the political parties.

He stressed that the military and security authorities should represent the national unity of the nation and not allows any militias outside these institutions to produce disasters, as happening in the countries in which a regional, sectarian or partisan army has been formed.

About the rumors that say the Islah Party controls the authority and manages the affairs of the governorates, the head of the Information Department of Islah stressed that the party does not run any Yemeni governorate at all, warning of the seriousness of this classification of persons in power according to their political affiliations.

He pointed out that the General People's Congress is at the top of the local authority hierarchy in Marib and Taiz, and that the Islah comes in third place, calling for not allowing classifications within the legitimate authority, stressing the unity of the Republican ranks in the confrontation of the imamate priesthood.

Al-Jaradi pointed out that these classifications dealt with by some are a scarecrow, should not hinder us from our main goal to restore the state and break the coup, pointing out that the Islah is the last party to get the gains.

He said "We, in the Islah Party, are the victim number one for the Houthi coup and we have files in numbers for all the martyrs, wounded, detainees and displaced people we provided, but we should not talk about our grievances. We will not claim that we have provided good for our country, our people and our partners. We are not in the state of calculating our sacrifices. Today, our main goal is to restore our country. He added by saying "If our presence in the government causes a problem or insomnia for some, or the national forces and the coalition have any reservation towards us or that our presence causes impeding for liberation, we will withdraw."

Regarding what is being circulated about that the Islah controls on the decision joints in the governorate of Taiz, al-Jaradi noted that all the authorities of the governorate are issued by President Abderbo Mansour Hadi, in its military and administrative hierarchy, expressed his astonishment by saying: "If the Islah ran Taiz, would we hear this disparity?"

Al-Jaradi stressed that the evaluation of the performance of the authorities is the responsibility of the government and the authority and not the responsibility of the politics parties, warning that Taiz transforms from the city of tolerance, culture, science and political into a bad model for liberated cities as wanted by some.

Al-Jaradi called on the political parties in Taiz to overcome the media and political problems and leave the box of subjectivity, and addressed them by saying: "Taiz is the face of Yemen, and you must be at this level because you are seniors."

Al-Jaradi explained that the decision to liberate Taiz governorate is a military decision related to the possibilities and unity of political and military position.

He stressed that the individual opinions issued by people in social networking sites do not reflect the positions of the Islah, which are expressed by its media, statements and the hierarchy of its leadership, pointing to the rapid growth of these means and the dealing with what is being said in social networking sites by some as means of press and what is being issued by these sites will be counted on a political side.

Calling on members and lovers of the Islah Party as well as other political forces to leave the box of quarrels that affected the Yemeni cause and the cohesion within the parties and the legitimate authority, and said: "We are at a critical moment in the confrontation of the coup."

Regarding the relationship between reform and brotherhood in the United Arab Emirates, Al-Jaradi pointed to the great sacrifices made by the UAE in order to restore the state in Yemen and bring down the coup and that there is one path that brings them together in front of the threat that threatens Yemen, the Arabian Peninsula and the Gulf, stressing that any discrepancies must be removed.

Al-Jaradi appreciates the role of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the rest of the Arab alliance countries. Without this alliance, its military support, battle management and humanitarian relief efforts, Yemen would become a state under the control of Iran.

Al-Jaradi spoke of the experiences of the Islah Party in political action and national partnership, denying the accusations against it. He said: "The Islah has not and will not be a force of exclusion or unilateralism," referring to the experience of the Joint Meeting Parties as a precedent not found in the Arab countries. He also referred to the participation of the Islah in political coalitions, electoral processes, national consensus, concessions it provided for the national interests and concessions it provided to its partners in the government.

Al-Jaradi revealed a broad political alliance that includes all the political forces supporting the legitimacy, and that the announcement of this alliance was delayed due to difficulties related to the current situation and the moments of diaspora, migration and battles, which cast a shadow over the situation as a whole.

Al-Jaradi pointed out that the exclusion accusations that are raised on the face of the Islah Party so as not to get its members the simplest functional and political rights, stressing that the Islah is subjected to a significant elimination in the pyramid of public positions and in the rest of the joints of the state. He said "but we bear all these wounds because we are at the moment of the restoration of the state," proving with the share of the Islah in the government, stressing that the figures confirm that the Islah has fewer positions than small parties, especially diplomatic positions where the Islah is under the pyramid.

"Come and take everything, because we are not keen on that," he said.

Al-Jaradi stressed that the Islah is a Yemeni political party that has nothing to do with any group, whether organizational or administrative, referring to the party's long experience in Yemeni political life, its presence in unions, its participation in the elections and its strong relationships, explaining that the Islah is a visible party.

On the relationship between the party and the State of Qatar, al-Jaradi stressed that the position of the Islah is the same as the position of the Yemeni authority, pointing out that Qatar has provided a service to the Houthis in the political and media field and that Qatar should review this position and not allow the inter-Gulf dispute to cast its shadow over Yemen. Al-Jaradi warned that if the Houthi has authority over Yemen, and this is impossible, Qatar would not exist and that Iran would not provide it, because Iran considers these countries only entremets for its emperor expansionist project. Al-Jaradi expressed his hope that these differences do not take us to jump on the big strategic issues related to the security of the Peninsula and the Gulf.

Al-Jaradi talked about the relationship with Turkey and the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, explaining that the issue has increased and become a means of pressure on Saudi Arabia and its crown prince, wondering about the results to be achieved from this pressure?, stressing that the result it is to shake stability in the Kingdom, which represents the wall last in the confrontation of the Iranian project.

He stressed that Saudi Arabia is considered a stronghold of the Arabs and the leading and central country to confront the Iranian ambitions. He called for alerting to this. He added that any country that claims its concern for Arab and Islamic issues, Saudi Arabia must be at the forefront of its interest and should support it."

As for the many leaders and cadres of the Islah Party and the imams of mosques in the southern governorates who were subjected to assassinations, al-Jaradi said that we must look to the victims as Yemeni citizens before considering their political affiliations, and that the matter is vested in the authority and the security services, especially that many of these figures participated in the liberation of Aden from the Houthi militias, explaining that the Islah does not want the issue of confronting outlawed militias to turn to a kind of political revenge and cannot be dealt with in this context, but within the framework of legitimate authority.

Al-Jaradi stressed that President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi represents a symbol of legitimacy and is the master of the ship, and that he did a lot in the confrontation of the coup, and was subjected to an assassination, calling on national forces to go with him in order to restore the country from the coup.

Al-Jaradi appreciated the great role played by the Arab alliance led by Saudi Arabia and the UAE, which has done much to restore the Yemeni state, stressing that "we will not forget what they have done and their stand with us in one trench to restore our homeland, and without the coalition, we would have become an Iranian state.

He also praised strongly the sacrifices made by Islah members, and he saluted the steadfastness, pride and dignity of its members in the political and media fields, praising the role played by other political forces in the national battle. He added: "We will provide everything as parties and citizens to restore our homeland as Yemeni citizens. We will not allow the return of the priesthood, the imamate and the Persian militias to rule this country, because it is the land of Himyar that has its Arab Islamic national identity."
