الخميس 01 نوفمبر-تشرين الثاني 2018 الساعة 11 مساءً / Al-Islah.net - Exclusive

The Houthi militias committed a new brutal crime against childhood on Monday in the governorate of Taiz, which claimed the lives of many children.
Sources in the governorate of Taiz that the Houthi militias fired an artillery shell on the village of Ajwad in the area of Ashmala located at Directorate Maqbanah led to the death of the 3-year-old Rafik Thabet Saeed and wounding five other children were seriously injured, some of them amputated limbs in the massacre committed by the militias on Monday evening.

The sources confirmed that the wounded were:
the 4-year-old boy Rahib Saeed Thabet, the 5-year-old boy Ryan Rafiq Thabet Saeed, the 9-year-old girl Renas Rafiq Thabet Saeed, the 9-year-old girl Tahreer Thabet Saeed al-Rabih and the 65-year-old Shamaa Ali Ahmed, and this lady is the only victim among the children hit by the shell launched by the Houthi militias.
This crime is one of a series of crimes committed by the Houthi militias through the killing, recruitment, torture and displacement of Yemeni children. These are the crimes that the world daily sees, as well as the daily suffering of children as a result of war, the deprivation of education and the diseases, as well as the specter of hunger and malnutrition.
Perhaps this crime brings to mind the most horrific crime that occurred in August 2015 when 10 children were killed and more than 15 others injured by a shell launched by the coup militias from their positions in the area of al-Hawban on a children's gathering in the neighborhood of Shaab Salit in the region of Ausaifira. Between the two crimes there are many similar crimes resulted in civilian casualties, especially young children killed by the Houthi death machine, which reveal how the militias are bloody and barbaric and disregard for the blood of children in particular and Yemenis in general.

Diversity of crimes against children
In a heinous crime committed by Houthi leader Abdullah al-Dailami last September, when he shot the 10-year-old boy, Abdul Rahman who died a day after the crime. Abdul Rahman is the son of an academic at Ibb University. The crime of this child was only that his ball touched this Houthi leader during his passage, where this Houthi responded by directing his gun at the head of the child and shot him.
The matter did not stop at killing children with missiles by Houthi militias, but they practice assassinations and sniping children in several Yemeni governorates in the shadow of international silence, especially in the city of Taiz, which had the largest share of the crimes of the coup.
According to a report by the Yemeni Coalition for Monitoring Human Rights Violations, most of the children who were killed by Houthi snipers fire were sitting and playing in their homes or helping their families to bring water from charity tanks allocated for water distribution, in addition to killing some of them while leaving their schools.
Although the report was issued in the first third of the last year, it recorded 393 murders of children, including 273 killed in random attacks and direct sniper fire. The militias committed all these crimes deliberately and had no potential military objective but to kill innocent people. As a result of these crimes comes the forced displacement, as well as the number of children suffered from injuries, deformities, disabilities, psychological disorders and educational and social damages.
The report of the regional and international human rights experts who are commissioned by the Human Rights Council to conduct a comprehensive examination of the human rights situation in Yemen during the period from September 2014 to June 2018 in order to reveal what the Houthi militias do to recruit large numbers of children by force and force them to join the ranks of their fighters and use them in battles and mine planting.

Dreadful numbers
Yemen's mission in the UN said last June that about 1,500 Yemeni children had been killed by the Houthi militia and more than 4,000 wounded since March 2015 to April 2018, reflecting the horrific crime committed by the Iranian militia.
The mission revealed that 18,491 human rights violations were committed in Yemen, of which 1,372 violations were against children. The number of injured children was 3,382 out of 30,362 injured. The number of children killed was 204 and 307 were injured, in addition to 84 children were in detention.
In addition, the Houthi militias have pushed more than 2 million children into the labor market as a result of the war. The situation has worsened in the past few months and the economic situation continues to deteriorate, this threatens children life as a result of malnutrition and hunger. According to official statistics of the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Houthi militias deprived more than 4.5 million children from education.
Houthi militias' shells hit civilians in several governorates such as Hodeidah, Jawf and Marib, but the children of Taiz were further affected by the continued siege imposed on the city by the Houthi militias. Under the disregard of the international organizations and the international envoy of this siege and what the neighborhoods of the city exposed to crimes and random shelling civilians.

Marib's children and Houthi missiles
The city of Marib was not immune from the Houthi missiles that fell on the neighborhoods of the city and killed civilians, including children who died under the weight of these shells, and others were affected by injuries, deformities and disabilities.
Military and security leaders in Marib say that if those shells could not be destroyed by the air defenses of the Arab Alliance supporting the legitimacy forces, which normally destroy ballistic missiles, the disaster would be much larger, artillery shells and Katyusha rockets still fall on civilians, especially children.
The last victims of children in Marib were on August 11 as a result of rocket-shells launched by the Houthi militias on airport neighborhood in the city, which resulted in the death of two children and the injury of two other children.
According to unofficial statistics, dozens of civilians have been killed and wounded by missiles fired by Houthis on several neighborhoods in Marib since 2016. The militias are still trying to target civilians with ballistic missiles intercepted by the air defense system of the Arab Alliance.
The children of Yemen are victims of the Houthi-war machine funded by Iran, through killing, recruitment and starving in the shadow of the international community's silence and disregard of crimes committed by the Houthi militias, which became a guillotine that kills the childhood in Yemen.
