Ali al-Jaradi, head of the Information and Culture Department in the Yemeni Islah Party, condemned the criminal attack on the journalist Mujalli al-Samadi by the Houthi militia in the hijacked capital, Sana'a.

In a tweet, al-Jaradi indicated that al-Samadi was beaten after his radio broadcast was confiscated in Sanaa.

He said that Al-Samadi was a professional journalist, a wonderful and tolerant person, and he had no quarrels with anyone, but he chose to live in his homeland during the militia time.

Al-Jaradi made it clear that the militias are not satisfied with confiscating the rights of others only, but rather they take the confiscation of people's dignity and humiliation as their profession.

He emphasized that this darkness will dissipate and that what al-Samadi is exposed to is nothing but a badge of honor on his forehead.

On Thursday, an armed gang affiliated with the Houthi militia attacked journalist Mujalli al-Samadi before his house in Sana'a, after his continuous demand to pay his salary they looted after more than a year of looting and confiscating his own radio broadcast.

Since its coup against the state, the terrorist Houthi militia has been practicing its most heinous crimes against the press, journalists, and media professionals, where it has committed unprecedented crimes against this sector.
