The Yemeni Islah Party condemned the terrorist attack that targeted Brigadier General Abd al-Latif al-Sayyid, on morning, Thursday, in Abyan Governorate.

In a tweet, he posted on his official Twitter page, Mr. Adnan al-Audayni, deputy head of the Islah Party Information and Culture Department, confirmed that terrorism is considered a blight that is active in some liberated areas as a supporter of the Imamate, which works to help it exhaust the state and thwart efforts to restore its presence on the ground.

He stressed the importance of dealing with this file decisively.

He begged God to have mercy on the Brigadier General, offering at the same time condolences to his family, friends and comrades.

 According to a security source, this morning, a terrorist attack took place leading to the martyrdom of Brigadier General Abd al-Latif al-Sayyid, along with a number of his bodyguards, after an explosion targeted his convoy in Wadi Uwaymiran - Abyan Governorate.
