The Houthi militias commit 281 violations against civilians in the villages of al-Haqab

The head of the Awareness Center for Media and Human Rights, Ahmed Al-Dhahayani, revealed that the Houthi militias committed 281 violations against the residents of the villages of al-Haqab, south of the city of Damt in Dhali' governorate during the period from 5 to 21 November 2018.

In a statement, Al-Dahayani explained that “the violations were divided between the killing and wounding of civilians by shelling, sniping, and the carrying out of kidnappings, the destruction of houses and the displacement of the population. All these violations were committed by the Houthi militias.”

He confirmed that the team of the Awareness Center for Media and Human Rights monitored the killing of 6 citizens, including two women and wounding 11 citizens, including two women in the shelling and sniping by the Houthis against villages of the south of the city of Damt.

The Awareness Center for Media and Human Rights monitored the kidnapping of 7 citizens by the Houthi militia, while the team also recorded the destruction of 11 houses in the villages of al-Haqab by using mortars, in addition to the departure of 246 families towards the villages of Murais and Qa'taba city.
