Celebrating International Women's Day on March 8 of each year is a reflection of the strength and will of women all over the world and a reminder of the challenges they face and which require further efforts to overcome.

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, we are proud that we are an essential and indispensable element of society, and active in all areas of life. We realize that women in times of war are the ones who pay the greatest price and are the ones who bear many responsibilities. Despite this, she always proves that she has good faith and faces challenges and difficulties with a mature mind and calm sense.

On this day, we stand together in reverence for the contributions of women in all fields, whether in politics, economics, science, or the arts, and even in all sectors of life, as they constitute a fundamental pillar in building and developing societies, and it is a leader, innovator, and producer to achieve positive change.

However, the fact that women still face major challenges in their journey cannot be ignored, where as there is still a lot of work to be done to ensure women’s rights and full empowerment in all areas.

On this occasion, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting women’s rights, enhancing their participation in decision-making and creating change, as we work hard to ensure an environment that encourages innovation and excellence for all.

In the spirit of partnership and solidarity, we will continue to work together to build a better, more equitable future for all. Realizing that women are an unstoppable force and that the spark of hope emerges from achieving justice and equality. We adhere to our right to positive distinction for women by adopting the quota of women in all political positions, as stated in the outcomes of the comprehensive National Dialogue Conference.

On this occasion, we realize that the aspirations of Yemeni women go beyond these anesthesias and niceties in dealing with women, and that their capabilities are greater than they can be ignored. We are not isolated from the nation, and we cannot be indifferent to its challenges and responsibilities. However, events and transformations prove that women in our country are more mature, more concerned with people’s interests, and more capable of achieving them, and that they are a source of trust for everyone.

The crisis and challenges that our country is going through reaffirm that all of these factors provide justifications for the official to bypass women and marginalize their role and existence. This is true ignorance of the vital role that women must play in both private and public life. Women have achieved remarkable success and are still navigating this difficult situation with a mature sense of patriotism. For this reason, it is necessary for decision-makers to involve women in major changes and place them at the center of decision-making and influence.

We, in the women’s circle in the Yemeni Islah Party in Aden, congratulate the steadfast and struggling Adenian woman side by side with her male brother. We also congratulate Balqis’ granddaughters inside Yemen in particular and all the women of the world in general on this day and every day as they create a new homeland based on justice and freedom, citizenship, and equality. Our special congratulations to women on this occasion and Happy New Year to you and all the women of the world.
