Text of the statement

The Yemeni Islah Party in Abyan Governorate followed the assassination attempt on Prof. Dr. Muhammad Aqlan, Vice President of the University of Aden for Academic Affairs, a virtuous doctor, a virtuous educator and a well-known social figure in Aden Governorate, who made every effort to serve the country.

Today, Thursday, he was subjected to a sinful assassination attempt that did not take into account his age and academic position.

Accordingly, we in the Yemeni Islah Party strongly condemn this cowardly act and call on the security services in Aden Governorate to conduct an investigation into the incident and uncover the perpetrators, asking God Almighty to heal Dr. Aqlan and expose the criminals.
