The deputy head of the Information and Culture Department of the Yemeni Islah Party, Mr. Adnan al-Audini, stressed that only the state has the exclusive right to possess and use weapons and that no party has the right to compete with the state or to extract part of its authority.

In a post on his Facebook page, Al-Adaini added, "According to this right, the state should devote its sole authority."

Al-Audaini wondered, "Can we work together to achieve this demand in the face of all the armies that breed and without selection or bias?
