The head of the Executive Office of the Yemeni Islah Party in the Governorate of Hudaydah, Sheikh Hadi Hayj, reported that there is a dangerous escalation by the Houthi militia in the Governorate.

In a statement he made to alislah-ye.net, Hayj confirmed that the Houthi militia has turned the Hudaydah Governorate under its control into a military base to target the international corridors of the Red Sea, through which oil and commercial ships pass.

He made it clear that the escalation of the terrorist Houthi militia is the most dangerous of its kind because it has installed radars on the coasts of the Red Sea extending from north to south of Hudaydah to target the international corridor, and these radars have been installed with Iranian and Lebanese expertise.

He said that the Islah Party condemns these terrorist acts because they threaten Yemeni national security, as well as regional and international security in the Red Sea and that the Islah Party refuses that the peaceful city of Hudaydah is an advanced Iranian military base to target international corridors in the Red Sea through its Houthi militias in Yemen with the aim of targeting international trade and oil trade that pass through this vital corridor.

He added, "This Houthi escalation is also targeting the Yemeni economy, security, and stability, in addition to targeting the economy of the countries bordering the Red Sea and the Arab Gulf states."

He stressed that targeting this corridor by the Houthi militia will expose Hudaydah to global targeting, and this is not in the interest of the country in general and the people of Hodeidah in particular, because such terrorist moves achieve Iran's goals and turn Hodeidah into a trump card by which Iran manages its problems and outstanding files with the international community.

Hayj said: "We in the Yemeni Islah Party condemn these unprecedented moves that are taking place in Hudaydah and consider them a service to terrorist agendas that serve Iran at the expense of Yemen and the Yemeni people."

He called on the Yemeni political leadership, the Arab Alliance, and the international and regional community to stop such terrorist moves that threaten Yemen, the regional and international community, considering the continuation of silence regarding this Iranian-Houthi escalation in the Red Sea will exacerbate and complicate the crisis in Yemen and then exacerbate the crisis in the entire world in If the international community tries to ignore the escalatory steps taken by the terrorist Houthi militia.
