20 civil society organizations condemned the violations committed by the Iranian Houthi militia in the Al-Juba Directorate in the Marib Governorate and the international community's silence towards these violations.

In a joint statement they issued, these organizations confirmed that the homes of citizens and the mosque in the village of Al-Jarsha were targeted by the Houthi militia with deliberate artillery and missile shelling, which resulted in damage to civilians, especially children, as well as to public and private property.

And these organizations reported that another violation occurred on Thursday, October 28, 2021, which is no less ferocious and heinous than the previous bombing incidents. And this violation was represented in the bombing of the village of Al-Aamoud in the same Directorate, targeting the house of Sheikh Abdul Latif Nimran Al-Qibli. According to confirmed statistics, this incident resulted in six deaths and fourteen injuries, all of them civilians.

And the organizations pointed out that these acts are condemned and criminalized by the provisions of international humanitarian law, as war crimes that the United Nations, with its experts, organizations and bodies concerned with the protection of human rights, must do more than condemn and condemn.

They said that these actions necessitate a move to something that is more guarantee and secure for the innocent and leads to reining in the party responsible for these attacks committed by the armed Houthi group, especially since this group has found pleasant these violations and it is felt that it is safe from taking serious and responsible positions against it by the international legitimacy with its various formations and agencies.

And the civil society organizations expressed their regret for the international human rights silence in the face of the series of violations, the tragic events of which escalate frighteningly day after day.

And these organizations have called on international and regional human rights and humanitarian partners to pay attention to what is happening in the overcrowded governorate of civilians and displaced persons, in order to carry out the moral and humanitarian duty to protect civilians and displaced persons from the hostile attacks that target their lives on a daily basis.

And these organizations stressed the need to take more serious steps to reassure the victims and all those affected by taking effective measures to ensure that criminals and perpetrators of these crimes and violations do not go unpunished.

They called on the free media to convey these tragedies to the whole world.

These organizations also appealed to the legitimate government and brotherly and friendly countries to activate their role and do their utmost to protect their people, especially since the violations are clear, confirmed and condemned under all international instruments and laws guaranteeing human rights.
