The Assistant Secretary-General of the Yemeni Islah Party, Mr. Sheikhan al-Dabaeei, expressed his respect and appreciation to all members of the Islah Party in all cities and rural areas of Yemen, throughout the country.

This came in a post he published on his official Facebook account on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the founding of the Yemeni Islah Party.

On the anniversary of the founding of the Islah Party, al-Dubaeei called on Islah Party members and supporters to keep the political awareness that would enable them to engage in and serve their society as well as express its issues and defend its rights.

Al-Dubaeei emphasized that this is the way through which the Islahis will keep the people's respect for and trust in politics as a way to make what has been corrupted by the policies and the guns of the armed groups better.

The Assistant Secretary of the Islah Party made it clear that the fight against terrorism and militias comes with the aim of liberating people from the culture of violence.

He added: "We must resist violence and not be a part of it to drop its justifications and open the prospects for peaceful action for people."

And he addressed members and supporters of the Islah Party by saying: "You, men and women alike, make a barricade in the face of terrorism and violent groups across the dear homeland and you should strengthen your positions."

Al-Dubaeei stressed the spread of a culture of openness, peace, protection of civil peace, rejection of all kinds of incitement and saying good words to people so that we can defeat hatred and its miserable rhetoric.
