The Secretary-General of the Yemeni Islah Party, Mr. Abdul-Wahhab al-Ainsi, said that the struggler Sheikh Rabish bin Ali Wahban al-Aliyyi is a story and symbol of struggle and love of country that he imbibed from his republican struggling father, who took up his gun at the dawn of the September 26, 1962 revolution to participate in the consolidation of the foundations of the republican regime.
In an exclusive statement, al-Anisi said that merely speaking on the occasion of the one-year anniversary of al-Aliyyi’s martyrdom does not fulfill the right of a heroic leader who followed his father’s footsteps and went on to defend the Republic and the Yemeni identity in the face of the remnants of the Imamate era and the racist darkness's militia.
The Secretary-General of the Yemeni Islah Party said: "We are in front of supreme national stature and September of birth and martyrdom, and between them is a march full of giving and devotion to the homeland, whether in the field of political work or in parliamentary work in the House of Representatives, where he was a member of the Islah Party's Parliamentary Bloc or in the social field as one of the most prominent Sheikhs and notabilities. Wherever he went, he was loyal to his country, serving his community, possessing high values, principles and morals, and transparency and integrity that were reflected on his sons after his martyrdom, may God have mercy on him.
Al-Ainsi expressed the extent of the loss caused by Sheikh Rabish’s departure, but he said, “Our consolation is that he passed away as a martyr, God willing, so that the land may preserve its honor, dignity, faith, and republican honor, and that the lives of generations remain guarded against the shame of the Imamate and the danger of dynastic rule, leaving a pure history of struggle that guides the people of Yemen.”
