Head of the Executive Office of the Yemeni Islah Party in Taiz Governorate, Abdul Hafez al-Faqih, called on all forces and spectra of the people and its scientific, political, social, media and economic forces to take a leap of alert befitting Yemen to face the historical challenges that afflict the unity of a cohesive and effective republican rank to save the country by saving the national achievements that express its Yemeni identity and presence, and at the forefront of that is the republic, the one Yemen and democracy.

This speech was delivered during a ceremony organized by the General People's Congress Party in the Governorate, today, Tuesday, on the occasion of the 39th anniversary of the founding of the party.

Al-Faqih stressed the importance of moving towards the future without paying attention or stopping in the past unless that attention or stop is in order to conduct a positive review in order to avoid the negatives and mistakes and take advantage of the positives, which are many and precious, and we commit a crime in ignoring these positives today.

Al-Faqih praised the political experience of the General People's Congress Party, as it is the beginning of partisan work and the beginning of the Yemeni book on political pluralism.

He considered that the celebration is a partisan political celebration that has several connotations and special symbolism, at a time when political action has shrunk and party action has vanished, except for the political movement that we see in this Governorate and freedoms whose borders are the sky, to confirm that it is the nucleus of revolution, democracy and political action.

He extended greetings and congratulations to the brothers in the General People's Congress Party on the day of its feast and its celebration, which he said is a feast because the anniversary of any national party is a feast for all parties.

Al-Faqih considered that the experience of the General People’s Congress Party is the experience of a homeland in an important period that does not belong to the General People's Congress Party only, but belongs to all Yemenis and belongs to them as a historical case that must be studied by everyone, with all its negatives and positives because it is an important experience from the history of Yemen that cannot be erased from the page of history or erased from the memory of generations.

A national greeting of love and cohesion to the brothers and sisters of the General People's Congress Party in Taiz, at a time when they celebrate the 39th anniversary of the founding of the General People's Congress Party.

It is also a salute to this steadfast Governorate of Taiz, which deserves all the love from all of us, all the giving, all the effort and all the sacrifices, in order to present Taiz to Yemen and to generations as it is a pioneering city in science, bearer of the banner of revolution and change, raiser of the republic and the national project, always revolting in the face of obscurantist projects, and at the forefront of these obscurantist projects with their Persian extensions with historical ambitions and grudges against our nation.

Yemen has been plagued by this obscurantist project through the dynastic Imami priestly dynastical project, which sees the enslavement of the people as a religion and the dedication of dynastical arrogance to impose the theory of the master and the slave with all its ugliness and distortions. It is the project rejected by every Yemeni, and its resistance is resistance to death in favor of life, resistance to ignorance in favor of science, resistance to slavery in favor of freedom, resistance to racism in favor of equality, which the Yemeni considers being the origin of dignity and existence because a people without equality is considered a nonentity.

It gives us great pleasure that we all gather today in this hall to celebrate the 39th anniversary of the General People's Congress Party. It is an emotional anniversary, especially as we are going through these circumstances and in light of an unjust war and a black coup that has engulfed Yemen and the Yemenis in all its blackness and backwardness, storming all national achievements.

It is a celebration is a partisan political celebration that has several connotations and special symbolism, at a time when political action has shrunk and party action has vanished, except for the political movement that we see in this Governorate and freedoms whose borders are the sky, to confirm that it is the nucleus of revolution, democracy and political action.

And here it is, Taiz preserves it in all circumstances, bearing all the consequences, and, God willing, it will be a starting point for returning to the entire country with a different face and a better spirit, in which all the negatives and mistakes, and perhaps the sins committed in the political arena, will be avoided by going out against the rules of the political game at many times and stations.

According to the time permits us, we affirm on this occasion the following:

- At a time when we salute and congratulate the brothers in the General People's Congress Party on its feast day and celebration, we congratulate ourselves, because the truth is that the feast and anniversary of any national party is a feast for all parties.

And here, we affirm that your feast is our feast because we are in one homeland and one future awaited us, which is the future that we must make with well-deserved with all the forces of the Yemeni people.

And on this occasion, at a time when we congratulate the General People's Congress Party on the anniversary of its founding, we draw attention to the great and distinguished role of the Congress Party that can play in the political arena, the Congress Party is the beginning of the party action and the opening chapter of the Yemeni book on political pluralism. Needless to say, that the Congress Party Charter represented in the National Charter is not alien to the partisan arena, but rather it is a beautiful painting that was engraved by the hands of political forces because every Yemeni party has its mark in the National Charter.

Hence, it can be said that the experience of the General People’s Congress Party is the experience of a homeland in an important period that does not belong to the General People's Congress Party only, but belongs to all Yemenis and belongs to them as a historical case that must be studied by everyone, with all its negatives and positives because it is an important experience from the history of Yemen that cannot be erased from the page of history or erased from the memory of generations.

- It is the living peoples and societies that struggle to reach the pavement of civilization, bypassing all failures, all obstacles and all pains, transforming these ordeals into grants, rich experiences and lifting to the top of civilized access, which begins with restoring a homeland and building good governance on democratic foundations and a strong state with its neutral institutions aligned with the constitution, the law and the nation's interest.

From this pulpit, the pulpit of the Republican National Congress Party, we call on all the forces and spectra of the people and its scientific, political, social, media and economic forces to take a leap of alert befitting Yemen to confront the historical challenges that afflict the unity of a cohesive and effective republican rank to save the country by saving the national achievements that express identity and the Yemeni existence, and at the forefront of that the republic, the one Yemen and democracy, without which Yemen will turn into a ruin and a garbage dump of backwardness and racism, and any shortcoming or failure will be a crime committed by all against Yemen and future generations.

We all need to move towards towards the future without paying attention or stopping in the past unless that attention or stop is in order to conduct a positive review in order to avoid the negatives and mistakes and take advantage of the positives, which are many and precious, and we commit a crime in ignoring these positives today.

The one who looks back will inevitably fall into the pits, and the one who draws negativity will be bound by chains of illusions that produce ignorance, backwardness and hatred.

And our task is to join forces in order to transcend the circles of ignorance, backwardness and hatred, which burn all the creative energies of the people, distort its solid will with which Yemenis have been known throughout history, and make us fight with the windmills away from the heart of the battle and the heart of the national project.

- We deeply believe that we are in one ship called Yemen and that in Taiz in particular we bear a historical responsibility in the battle of identity, restoring the state, defeating the coup, ending its effects, loyalty to the blood of the martyrs, restoring consideration for the Yemeni revolutions of September, October and earlier, and victory for the republic as a system and identity for the Yemeni people through which dignity, freedom and equal citizenship are achieved.

- Political parties are a single national system and branches of a single tree, and strengthening these parties means strengthening the tree trunk that is the homeland and society, and their function is to work in integration and not with dissonance, and to compete within the framework of the rules of a constitutional political game and parallel methods, all of which lead to the state and the strengthening of society, and we have to believe that the strength and unity of any force or party benefits all parties and the country in general.

- At a time when we are proud of our national army and security forces, we realize the magnitude of the challenges they face in light of the war and the overlapping targeting against the legitimacy and its army, and against Taiz and its national army in particular.

At the same time, we stress the importance of raising the pace of work and role of the security services, the judiciary and the army in beating anyone who is tempted to attack public or private rights. And we also call for the application of the law and deterrent penalties in rights and blood cases, which begin with the completion of the arrest process all those wanted by the security forces, including those wanted in the recent events that took place in the Amad area of Bir Pasha as a grave and heinous crime and felony that cannot be tolerated because the attack on one person is an attack on society and all people.

- Establishing security and achieving justice is the other side of the liberation battle and saving the Republic of Yemen from the bottom of the caves of superstition and racism. This national battle of ours is a battle that unites everyone, away from side intrigues or drowning in pelting each other that benefit no one. And here, we call on the community and its living forces to support the local authority and the concerned agencies and to represent the popular support for the security agencies and the authority, especially in these circumstances that are not hidden from anyone, in which all kinds of challenges are crowded.

We reiterate the call for all political parties and forces to stay away from all forms of interfacial political and media intrigues, which only produce weakening to Taiz, neglecting sacrifices and serving the enemy as the sole and exclusive beneficiary of any dissonance, fragmentation, or small intrigues that have nothing to do with the national project and our historical battle with its national, human and cultural dimensions. We must all go forth with one hand to wage the battle of national liberation, the battle of the republic, and to defeat the coup in one republican rank, led by the President of the Republic, Field Marshal Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi.

Finally, we reiterate our congratulations to the leadership and members of the General People's Congress Party for this celebration, wishing them all the best and success.
