The head of the Rasd Organization for Freedom and Rights in Yemen, Arafat Humran, said that the Houthi militia had kidnapped about 16,300 Yemenis, 137 of whom were killed under torture and 751 were used as human shields in Houthi military sites.

In statements he made to the Saudi newspaper, "Okaz", he added that the militia blew up more than 2,000 houses, killing and wounding more than 60,000 Yemenis, including women and children, most of them in Taiz Governorate, and of these 2,000 people who were killed by sniping, in addition to the displacement of about 4 million to Marib.

He made it clear that the militia had planted two million mines, which led to killing 10,000 civilians, most of whom were women and children from those who are working in grazing and agriculture, pointing out that the militia had recruited more than 30,000 civilians in exchange for obtaining food baskets provided by international organizations.

He revealed the documentation of 236 billion Yemeni riyals that were plundered by the Houthis from the Central Bank before it was transferred to Aden, and this led to the deprivation of 3 million employees of their salaries over the past years, indicating that international experts estimated the salaries of the employees looted by the militia at one million and 800,000 US dollars.

He added that the money that was seized annually by the militia is sufficient to pay the salaries of employees for the next three years, pointing out that 80% of educational institutions were destroyed, including 300 schools that were converted into centers for the manufacture of mines and explosives and military barracks.

He stressed that there are about 15,000 schools in Houthi-controlled areas that teach sectarian curricula that call for division and fighting. There are also about 4,500,000 children who have been released from their schools, in addition to 300 teachers in the Houthi prison, 4,000 teachers have been replaced, and 25,000 teachers have been displaced from their cities, confirming the death of 7 teachers under torture in Houthi militia prisons.
