613 crimes and violations were committed by the Houthi militia in al-Baydha Governorate during the year 2020

A human rights report confirmed that the terrorist Houthi militia committed 613 crimes and violations against civilians in al-Baydha Governorate during the year 2020.

In its annual report, entitled "The Bitter Harvest," the Human Rights Office in al-Baydha governorate listed numbers of Houthi crimes and violations that were monitored and documented during the year.

According to the report, the terrorist Houthi militia committed 57 cases of killing of civilians, including 7 women and 8 children, and 49 injuries, including 13 women and 16 children.

During the year 2020, the Houthi militia abducted 174 civilians and committed 104 cases of destruction, looting and damage to private interests, in addition to 16 cases of destruction, looting and damage to public interests.

The report monitored 37 cases of indiscriminate shelling of homes and villages, 91 cases of displacement and forced displacement, and 15 cases of movement restriction, movement prevention, and work ban.

The Houthi militia committed 40 cases of home raids, threats, abuse and searches, in addition to 21 cases of mine planting and 9 other miscellaneous cases of violations.

The report confirmed that the cases of crimes and violations committed by the Houthi militia have increased more than in previous years, after the events of Radman Directorate.
