Text of the statement

At the time when our great Yemeni people celebrates the 57th anniversary of the glorious 14th of October Revolution, it is a pleasure for the Yemeni Islah Party to offer its congratulations and blessings to all of our struggling people and their political leadership represented by His Excellency President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi President of the Republic, the National Army and the courageous popular resistance on the occasion of this great annual anniversary in which we evoke the historical moments to ignite the spark of the October Revolution, which was fought by symbols of Yemen's strugglers and its honorable revolutionaries in order for creating a historical epic of redemption one year after the glorious September Revolution that their comrades in the north of the country immortalized at that time in order for the national movement to harmonize in its liberating rhythms from the filth of the Imamate dynastic dictatorship and brutal colonialism.

Just as Yemen has been plagued by a closed tyranny in the north that works to consecrate the deadly trio (ignorance, poverty and disease) and feeds on it, so the south of the homeland was plagued by hateful racial colonialism that worked to target the identity of the people and seize its capabilities through materialism and racist outlook, which was evident from through its dealings that were satisfying the ambitions of the colonial empire.

The imamate despot and the hated colonizer were keen to make the splitting a case in place by ascribing this approach in various ways in order for ensuring that Yemen remains divided and weak. However, the first revolutionaries who carried out the two Yemeni revolutions - September and October - were aware that Yemen will not exist and will not has a status as long as it is divided, and that the first step that must be taken is the restoration of the one Yemen, and this was embodied in the role that the people of the southern governorates played in supporting the September 26 revolution and working to make it a success as a path to the success of the revolution against colonialism.

The cohesion between the September and October revolutions constituted the most appropriate opportunity to achieve Yemeni unity after tyranny and colonialism had been eliminated in the two parts of the homeland. And opportunities and potentials went on after the September and October revolutions in order to achieve the dream that all Yemenis were seeking to, represented in the re-realization of unity between the two parts of the homeland, so that conditions were created that made the realization of unity unavoidable, but the failure that appeared in providing the requirements for the success of the unit, which represented in what would come next! This led to the emergence of practices inconsistent with the credibility that was required by the consolidation of such a great goal, and here these wrong practices were confused with unity as a great goal and a noble value that the Yemeni people kept dreaming of and striving to achieve. Instead of everyone looking for effective solutions to bypass these practices, some who did not have a sound perception of what unity means took the path of blaming unity for those mistakes, and instead of unity as a goal and a means to solve the problems left by tyranny and colonialism, these people made it the cause of all these problems and some of those who rode the wave of rejection of these practices in another direction against unity and Yemen.

The peaceful youth revolution came as a new turning point and provides a real opportunity to overcome all the negative aspects of the past. Then the march of the Comprehensive National Dialogue Conference came, in which people entered with all their concerns without a specific ceiling that prevents them from saying what they want, and everyone reached solutions to many unresolved and thorny issues, but the forces that do not want good for Yemen, which granted themselves to Iranian ambitions with racist motives, eliminated transit opportunities in Yemen and continuation of the process of building a federal Yemen based on providing justice, security and stability.

The correct way to achieve the goals of the blessed Yemeni revolutions - September and October - and return the homeland to the right path requires all of us to stand firmly in the face of the Houthi coup and the consequent disasters that befell all the Yemeni people because the rebels are the ones who sparked the war and they are the ones who continue this war and all suffering of the people are because of this aggressive behavior as if they know that the project they are carrying cannot survive except in the shadow of war and terror, and therefore they work day and night to nourish and continue the war.

The compass of the legitimacy, with all its political and social components, must be directed primarily towards ending this fascist terrorist coup and returning to complete the process that was highly appreciated by the people, regionally and internationally.

Here, we do not forget to praise the Arab Alliance to support the legitimacy, led by the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and their role in supporting Yemeni legitimacy and the active and constructive contribution to building the new Yemen, supporting its security, stability, unity, and territorial integrity, and removing what the rebel have caused, as this battle does not target Yemen alone, but rather targets the region as a whole and shows in it, Iranian ambitions are clear and declared.

Today, when we are on the threshold of implementing the Riyadh Agreement, we need to ask for inspiration from the revolutionary spirit that this national occasion reminds us of, and in a way that makes us think in a way that is free from loyalty to a special part, regionalism and tribalism, and we have to be raised to the size of the revolutionaries, their behavior and their sacrifices.

The revolution of October 14, which was stoked by the brave heroes, and its first spark was launched from the mountains of proud Radfan under the leadership of the martyr Rajeh bin Ghaleb Labuzah, was a historical epic, in which the image of the great Yemeni scene completed and emphasized the monism of the revolution, struggle, liberation and belonging, for the rule of the Imamate and colonialism were two sides of the same coin that came over our homeland and our people, so the two Yemeni revolutions on September 26 and October 14 were an embodiment of the tendency towards liberation and emancipation, and had it not been for the sacrifices of the struggling patriotic figures who embodied the struggle in its highest meanings and presented the nation's interest, would not have been for our people in the north and south of the homeland to get rid of the two crouching nightmares or to see the light of freedom, dignity and unity.

Today, after enough years have passed, it will be necessary for everyone to consider all the practices that set the rocks in front of the march of unity and building a unified Yemen and work to overcome all the remnants of the past and its practices. The time has come for us all to work to overcome all these obstacles in order to achieve the aspirations of the Yemeni people in dignified and safe life, and in this direction, there is the role of decision-makers from the national and political forces, intellectuals and all components of society, so that everyone in its field tends to overcome all the negatives of the past.

The 57th anniversary of the October 14 Revolution is a station for review and evaluation, finding out the shortcomings and an opportunity to stir up and revive the goals of the sublime Yemeni revolution so that the generation can imbibe it and be a supplement for the future that enables it to preserve its constants and guard its gains.

On this occasion, which is dear to all of our hearts, we call on all cadres of the Yemeni Islah Party, its supporters and all the Yemeni people to commemorate the anniversary of the October Revolution in what befits it and for the national achievements it has achieved. It is also an opportunity to renew congratulations to all the honorable people of Yemen who are steadfast in the face of this Iranian-backed Houthi coup, foremost of which the personnel of the army, security and popular resistance who are stationed in locations of honor and heroism in the plains, mountains and valleys, and all the struggles who waged epics and make huge sacrifices in order to bring down the terrorist Houthi turgor and guard the revolution, the republic and the dignity of the people.

Glory to the October 14 and September 26 revolutions, and eternity to their martyrs

We ask God for mercy to all the martyrs of Yemen

Healing for the wounded and freedom for the captives and abductees

Victory for Yemen, its republic and its army

Shame and disgrace of the imamate and colonialism
