Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, noted that Al-Dhale'a has been and remains at the forefront of the ongoing battles against the Iranian-backed Houthis terrorist militia. He praised the heroism and sacrifices of its people, alongside those from other governorates, in the fight to defend the homeland and dignity, restore the state, and end the Iranian theocratic project.

This came during a phone call Dr. al-Alimi made to the Governor of Al-Dhale'a Governorate to inquire about the general situation in the governorate, follow up on efforts in the areas of security, services, and development, and discuss the challenges facing various sectors.

He received a briefing from the Governor of Al-Dhale'a on the governorate's conditions and needs, the level of services provided in the districts, and the efforts made by the local authority to alleviate the suffering of the population and address priority issues, given the exceptional circumstances the governorate is experiencing.

A member of the Presidential Leadership Council affirmed the Council's and the government's commitment to supporting local authorities in Al-Dhale' Governorate, under the leadership of the governor, and to strengthening their efforts to achieve security and stability, improve public services, and address priority development issues to meet citizens' needs and enhance the role of state institutions in various districts. He also offered congratulations on the eleventh anniversary of the liberation of Al-Dhale'a, noting that the victory of May 25, 2015, marked a significant turning point in the national struggle against the Houthi terrorist militia. It was one of the most prominent national victories that thwarted the Iranian project in the country and affirmed the steadfastness of the people of Al-Dhale'a in defending their homeland and dignity.

The Presidential Leadership Council member explained that honoring the sacrifices of the people of Al-Dhale'a and its martyrs necessitates restoring the governorate's leading role in the reconstruction and development process. He also stressed the need to give the governorate greater attention in implementing service and development projects, directing the government to redouble its efforts and increase its focus on Al-Dhale'a, commensurate with the sacrifices of its people and its national standing.

He emphasized the necessity of consolidating national unity and working with a high sense of responsibility, placing the public interest above all else. He pointed out that this pivotal stage in the nation's history requires everyone to overcome differences, bridge divides, and move beyond narrow loyalties. He also clarified that differences in political visions, whatever their nature, should not become a pretext for bloodshed among the nation's sons or for exacerbating divisions.

The member of the Presidential Leadership Council affirmed that the appropriate forum for addressing any disagreements is dialogue, emphasizing that exclusion or marginalization, regardless of its form—regional, tribal, or political—is unacceptable. He explained that historical experience has proven that exclusion only breeds accumulated resentment and leads to recurring cycles of conflict. He indicated that inclusion, mutual understanding, and teamwork are the best ways to protect the nation and ensure its future and the future of generations to come.

Dr. al-Alimi expressed his deep appreciation for the sincere and brotherly role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, praising its continuous, round-the-clock efforts in supporting our country, its leadership, and its people. He emphasized that this support, encompassing various services, economic, security, military, and political sectors without discrimination or exclusion, is a fundamental pillar in strengthening stability, recovery, and alleviating the suffering of citizens.

For his part, the Governor of Al-Dhale'a expressed his gratitude for the attention and concern shown by Presidential Leadership Council member Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi regarding the governorate's situation and needs, and congratulated the people of Al-Dhale'a on this national occasion. The Governor affirmed that the local authority will continue its efforts to serve citizens, enhance security and stability, and improve the service and development sectors, in fulfillment of the martyrs' sacrifices and in response to the aspirations of the governorate's residents.
