The Yemeni Islah Party strongly condemned the inflammatory discourse promoted by Khaled al-Yamani, which portrays his political opponents as an existential threat.

Islah Party spokesperson Adnan al-Odaini denounced al-Yamani's discourse, pointing to its direct incitement, provision of political and moral cover for acts of violence, and justification of targeting the political arena.

In a post on the "X" platform Monday evening, al-Odaini asserted that this type of discourse transcends mere passing opinion and cannot be considered part of the broader media debate, especially given the recurring assassinations, security breakdowns, and systematic targeting plaguing the interim capital, Aden.

He explained that this discourse effectively becomes a tool for incitement and justification, contributing to an environment conducive to violations and crimes.

The Islah Party placed the blame squarely on Khaled al-Yamani, holding him fully responsible for the dangerous nature of this discourse and its potentially serious repercussions.

The Islah Party affirmed its commitment to its right to prosecute and legally pursue Khaled al-Yamani, explaining that incitement against political opponents is not part of freedom of expression, but rather constitutes a direct contribution to fueling and promoting violence.
