In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Islah Party's Executive Office in Aden affirmed that this step represents a notable advancement in strengthening security and stability within the city.

The Executive Office called upon the security services to continue their diligent efforts to apprehend the remaining individuals involved in the crime and to pursue the investigations to uncover all links connecting this terrorist cell and those behind it in terms of planning and funding. It emphasized that the perpetrators are merely tools used by entities seeking to undermine the security recently achieved in Aden and to obstruct the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts to support the Yemeni government in enhancing security and stability.

The statement also notes that the security services have achieved significant results, including the arrest of some suspects and the identification of the tools used in the crime. The Executive Office emphasizes that this achievement should serve as a genuine step towards achieving justice for the families of the victims of the assassinations that have plagued the city in recent years. Furthermore, the Executive Office affirms that the assassination of Dr. al-Shaer is an extension of a series of assassinations targeting social and religious figures. It is a direct consequence of the failure to hold those involved in the killings accountable over the past decade. The Executive Office stresses that the current situation demands a firm stance to ensure that such crimes do not recur and to restore confidence in the role of state institutions in protecting citizens.

The Executive Office expresses its sincere gratitude and appreciation to all official departments, local authorities, political parties and components, and the embassies of brotherly and friendly countries accredited to our country, for their condemnation of this crime and their solidarity with the family of the deceased. It affirms that these stances reflect a national consensus and a global rejection of violence and terrorism, as well as the necessity of protecting security and stability.
